Definitely not like the photos, disappointing rooms, and the way they prepared our foods was NOT hygienic, touching and eating with the same gloves they prepared our food with.

We booked here for a young adults retreat and it was great.
- The staff were super friendly and helpful.
- The location is awesome. Its super peaceful in the mornings and evenings. If you want to head out and explore the surroundings its so close to everything. There's also lots of space on the grounds for a game of footy or soccer.
- The quality and amount of food served was great, everyone was well fed and satisfied.
- The tea and coffee station was so handy. They also have a filtered water fountain.
- We loved that the rooms had both double bed and two single bed options.
Would recommend this venue for camps and conferences!

I was very disappointed in the cabins and the lack of freedom, it disappointed me very much just as the food did, it needs quite much improvement. The cabins where comfortable apart from the fact that the bathroom fan switch fell back so the fan was on all night and the toilet was loudly running all night and my friend got electrocuted, there was also a lot of daunting cracks around the room, but the air con and mini fridge were nice.

This venue is perfect for our requirements and I believe it’s the 5th time Redland Rhapsody Chorus have held our music retreat here. |This year we had nearly 50 of us stay and it all went perfectly without a hitch. The staff are very accommodating and the food packages really well done.|It’s difficult to find a venue for a reasonable price that can accommodate this many people, without us having to climb into bunk beds in a dormitory situation, with shared showers. (A real plus!) |It’s a beautiful location and we look forward to our retreat s each year. We’ll be back in 2023.

Very disappointed to have a function cancelled due to a double booking only six weeks prior to the event - after multiple confirmations and booking well in advance. Small businesses have lost money and individuals are on the hook for flights. I had spend many hours preparing and now won't have any return on that investment.

Last week we brought our group of Year 6 students to Maroochy Waterfront for a Leadership Camp. From the moment we arrived the venue had all of our staff and students feeling very relaxed and peaceful. The grounds were wonderful from the gardens to the breathtaking view of the waterfront that we were fortunate to wake up each morning looking at. The facilities were fantastic and catered for our group perfectly, including the use of the hall for a prayer space during our evening liturgy. Students and staff alike were amazed by the cabins, especially the private en suites and individual air conditioning systems to ensure a comfortable sleep.

We had a group booking for an event well in advance with many confirmations and even a face to face booking to be now told a few weeks out it’s been double booked with a regular group of 50 school kids. Plenty of us that were booked have all be financially disadvantaged due to this cancellation! Be aware if you are thinking of using this venue you might want to rethink it…
