What this place has is it's location opposite the beach and a great view of the ocean especially from the second floor one bedroom unit. We stayed in unit 3.||The list of what it doesn't have is pretty long. There are no staff on the premises. You have to check in at the El Paradiso which is a block and a half down the street. You have to pay a $50 booking fee on top of the expensive room fee. We stayed for 3 nights and paid $515 (including $50 booking fee). There is no lift and no parking. You have to park your car opposite the room on the beach side of the parking lot. The rooms were probably lovely 40 years ago but they are very tired now. The air con didn't work. Thankfully the sea breeze kept us cool at night. There were 4 remotes and no instructions on TV and DVD. There was a rickety little table on the balcony and 2 chairs. The bed was ok but the lighting in the unit was inadequate (just 2 downlights) and 2 table lamps at each side of the bed. No problems with fridge, cutlery and crockery and they supply tea towel, scratcher and cloth but no detergent. Thanks for the Madura tea bags which was supporting a local north coast product. The room was noisy and not well insulated. Noisy from downstairs restaurant which decided to hammer and drill the evening it was closed. The plunge pool was noisy and not inviting and there was a constant noise of running water in our bathroom. I was worried that there were no fire alarms in the room and no evacuation plan. I thought this was mandatory. Woken early every morning by the garbage removal truck picking up the rubbish. It was good to walk to and from cafes and restaurants. Recommend the Bowling Club for service, food and presentation. ||A bit of a refurbishment and noise proofing this place would be worthwhile. Otherwise the new units in the caravan park next to the dunes are stunning. Congrats to the Kingscliff council for the great walkways along the beach - lots of seats, paths, tables, entertainment for the kids and sculptures and gardens. A really lovely environment for everyone to enjoy.

Poorly kept, poorly serviced, over priced! ||Room needs a decent clean (stains on the floor, mould in shower) and a renovation would not hurt (paint peeling, chipboard showing, potentially faulty wiring…. Fridge stopped working day 1). ||Most of this could be overlooked if I didn’t turn up to a room where there were no pillow cases. ||Think about that have you ever walked into a hotel room that cost $350+ per night and there were no pillow cases. I rang to ask… reason: linen shortage… wtf… the pillow cases were delivered within 30 mins, with a smile! ||The staff I interacted with were all pleasant and helpful. This review is a reflection on ownership/management!

We stayed in a hotel room on 24th October 2019 for our recent wedding anniversary. I sent an email a day before our arrival requesting to park our car early so we could go to lunch without having to move the car later. I received a nice response saying that wasn't a problem. When we got there we were informed our room didn't have a carpark and none were available. ||So after lunch we went to our room to find complete and utter filth and a broken non-functioning fridge. The fridge was defrosting as the freezer had collapsed into the fridge compartment. We had nowhere to put our bottle of champagne and there was only 1 champagne glass anyway. The fridge which has obviously not been working properly for some time going by the damage to the chipboard. I kindly removed the rest of the melting ice so it didn't further damage the cabinetry and carpet. TripAdvisor comments have previously mentioned a poorly performing fridge for the last year.||In order to go out on the balcony I had to sweep up all the sand as it hadn’t been swept. Not exactly something I felt I should be doing as a guest who had just arrived.||Then the final straw was the unclean toilet and faeces. So romantic!||When I complained, a lady came to clean the bathroom and sweep the balcony. No apologies for the interruption to our day. She said she had switched off and started to defrost the fridge when she was in the room earlier. So they were aware of the non-functioning fridge. Everyone knows bar fridges can be purchased for $200. Spend the money! It shows you respect your guests and their experiences in your properties.||An esky was provided however the lid was also filthy. Looks like something that was on a fishing boat and then stored in a garage for 5 years without ever being cleaned. ||In short, our anniversary was ruined because they couldn't be bothered buying a new fridge and checking if their cleaners are doing their job. TripAdvisor comments show lack of cleanliness is a reoccurring theme. Yet no action has been taken. We know the property isn't new but there is no excuse for filth, lack of overall cleanliness and maintenance. It's just pure laziness and greed. ||We left at the crack of dawn the next day and bought our champagne home. ||I emailed the property directly the next day expressing our extreme disappointment including photos and it was completely ignored. So please no disingenuous responses pretending otherwise.

A bit of a disappointment, room small, found left over vodka and yoguart in fridge, needs defrosting. Bed comfortable but single bed mattress protector on Queen size bed. Remote control didn't work. We replaced batteries. Supplied kitchen wear but no table or room to make breakfast. Power point behind microwave but hard to move to plug in kettle or toaster. Had to crawl down under cupboard to get toaster and jug out. Supplied 3 tea bags, plenty sugar but no coffee. No detergent to wash up in. Location good. Shower large with good water pressure spa bath lovely. Plunge pool was cold and slimy, needs attention coming into school holidays. Light over toilet not working only smoke alarm outside door in hallway.

1 star is pushing the boundaries of this property!!!!!
Firstly it falsed adversisted it had a kitchen and it didnt just a grotty microwave to match the dirty cutlery and plates and chipped stained cups
The place was filthy and had a rusty old pedastool fan that went straight outside with the dirty balcony and old dirty daybed. There was a vaccum cleaner in the cupboard that was full and filthy not sure if this place even has cleaners .
Outdoor table was old and weathered felt like the chairs were going to break.
Toilet was stained dirty shower was dirty hand basin was so bad and we were expected to wash dishes in there.
Spa was broken jets didnt work.
Were expected to walk about 800meters to Paradiso motel to get clean towels but they were only opened a limited time.
Werent told there was no management on site so we were expected to walk and find Paradiso and find our keys to get into our apartment and had no choice but to stay as we couldnt contact anyone.

False adveristment of a nice property highly not reccomended.
No atempt to fix anything just said they would move us to another property but as if that would of been any better these people are not fit to have properties to rent out.

I stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment with my partner. We loved the access to shops, cafes and the beach which was literally at our doorstep. The room was extremely clean and the beds were so soft and comfy. Had the best nights sleep which really took away the stress of work. The staff was also extremely friendly which made our stay that much more pleasurable. Thanks Marine Boutique!

This apartment Number 1 has been provided to us as a 4.5 star classification on the Website.
It was extremely disappointing to say the least!
There was no kitchen apart from a Microwave set in the bed sitter, and a few plates and cutlery in another bedroom cupboard. It was so small, with a broken ironing board, no iron and was very dark and dingy. Although the room was clean and tidy, we definitely would not recommend this property.
We were so pleased my wife and I had only contracted, sight unseen, to stay for two nights !

Stayed for two nights in Dec before Christmas day...room was tired and grimy with fingerprints on the glass doors and mirrors, tea stains inside the white mugs, white plastic bin still dirty and smelly under the new bin liner and carpet felt sticky under foot. Noise from splash pool filter intrusive over night. Situated well...very close to beach, cafes and shops etc.
Price was reasonable.
