I stayed 2 nights. Its In centre of town. The rooms are awsome with everything you need. Close proximity to many qaulity food places. Highly recommend "perfect potatoes" & burger junkie which are both close. I also had a big breakfast at "Local Hideout" which was an awsome high qaulity meal. But I must say it was very expensive. & close across the road is a great little whisky & gin bar. Good position in the city & not far from the mall. Rooms are usually booked by LGH patients & or there driver/carer.

I have stayed here a couple of times in the past and it is my preferred accommodation when staying in Launceston, I live on the east coast of Tasmania and travel here for medical reasons. Marillac House is run by St Vincent de Pauls as a place for people in rural areas to stay when visiting medical specialists or for families of people in hospital. Its a stunning old building in the heart of Launceston city with a beautiful garden and stunning old world features. The rooms are especially clean and very comfortable and very charming as well. They don't do breakfast but do supply quality coffee and tea and you can make a simple meal in the small but useful kitchenette. The bed linen and bed was fantastic and clean and the staff are very attentive and so kind and caring hence my reference to "Nana's Place" you really feel welcome and cared for. The prices are so reasonable for the quality of this stunning establishment, I'm not telling too many people about this place as I've been unable to book in the past due to its value and comfort. I highly recommend this place for anyone not after a pretentious and expensive hotel/B&B.

A great place to stay , its a home away from home when you need to be in Launceston for medical reasons where you will be made welcome. Each unit is fully furnished including bathroom and basic cooking facilities and fridge and a lift means easy access to 2nd floor .

Lovely staff great place to stay. Close to park, great coffee shop. Go see the monkeys they are so much fun to watch. Or just sit in the park
