Whenever I am in Sydney, this is where I choose to stay. Each time I come in, there are more improvements. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Easy access to the city by bus or train. Very convenient and affordable rates. I have been a customer for years.

I would like to let you know of the excellent service I received from the staff of Marco Polo this week, Peter and Afiq.
I made a booking and inadvertently was unable to cancel in time to get a refund. I needed to cancel in relation to issues regarding the flooding on the Mid North Coast.... they were very helpful so far as getting in touch with booking.com and agreeing to waive the fee.
They were polite and helpful at all times as well as at the time of making the booking and responding to my request regarding parking assistance. I hope I have the need to stay in the future and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Marco Polo.

I had a great stay at Marco Polo Motor Inn in Sydney. The location is very convenient, with easy access to public transport and just a short drive to the city. The free parking and high-speed Wi-Fi were a big plus and made my stay even more comfortable.

The room was clean and well-kept, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. While the building is a little older, it’s clear the team takes good care of it. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile – which made a real difference.

Check in was great I went out for dinner and when I returned I opened the door to find the complete window frame and window smashed and my belongings scattered everywhere. I raced down to reception to advise the person on the front desk only to be told that there had been a 3 hour blackout at the motel and they were sorry 😡I had to prompt the receptionist to give me another room which he did then he came up took a look and said let me know if anything is missing & walked away, do I started collecting my things only to find that my TAG heuer watch had been stolen so I lived into room 101 from 107 couldn’t sleep thinking I was going to get burgled the second time. Upon checking out I advised a different receptionist that my watch had been stolen he said we are very sorry but I will talk to management to see what we can offer you that was at 10am this morning and haven’t heard a word from the motel management 🤷♂️ absolutely disgusted

When I asked for a room away from the street I was given a deluxe room at no extra cost. The staff were very accommodating and the room was great. The location was perfect for my travels. I would recommend the Marco Polo Motor inn if you want a relaxed place in the inner west of Sydney.

Great little motor Inn to stay at - relatively close to the CBD. The receptionist's service was great and the rooms are nice and clean. Car parking area is secured with gate too. Light rail station is a 5-10min walk away - easily accessible. Have stayed here twice (once around 16 years ago) and would recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Sydney 🙂

From check-in great interaction with the owner. Offered me a good deal on the deluxe room and a late check out.
Room in great condition with all you can ask for. Plenty of space with modern style fit out.

Mate and I stayed the night of 24th Jan 2025. I stayed on alone night of the 25th. A first on-line glance the place looked like the usual tired old motel on finds on main roads. To be honest, I chose it for the price. First thing I noticed was the friendliness of the reception staff. (Not always apparent in a place with 24/7 reception). Then noticed the awesome heavy security gate for the car park. A ramp allowed me to park my car right outside my upstairs room. Most cheap hotels are a walk-in off the street. The room was comfy and had everything that usually comes with a motel room. Except biscuits. That was the ONLY 'no-frills' aspect to the place. The shower was big enough to fit four people (well, OK, three fat ones) no banged elbows here. Although it's on busy Parramatta Road, there was almost no traffic noise. This place is a hidden gem and I definitely have a new place to stay on my Sydney trips.
