We wanted an "escape the city" stay and ended up at Deb's B&B Farmstay. Beautiful homestead and super comfy cabins. Deb is the best host: truly welcoming and catered to what we needed. The peace and quiet is to be experienced. This would make a great venue for a yoga and/or meditation retreat or any other type of retreat. We will be returning.

Marchioness B&B Farmstay was a terrific experience for our family and friends. My wife and I wanted to give our 14 month old a chance to meet some animals, and this was a perfect place for it. Dogs, cats, sheep, a goat, horses, cattle, chooks - he loved them all! The property is beautiful and Deb and Clive were happy to show us around the area.||||The rooms were clean and bright, and we were made to feel right at home. We brought food to self cater one night (BBQ) and Clive was planning to barbecue for their family, so we combined everything and it was fabulous. The second night, we were fortunate enough to enjoy a delicious roast with bread and vegetables. No one will go hungry at Marchioness. ||||Within an hour's drive is the town of Gayndah with its giant orange, a winery (Wonbah estate), an historic railway tunnel (go at night!) and of course the quaint town of Mount Perry. We stayed over the June long weekend and feel like we need another visit to see everything. Thanks Clive and Deb!

Marchioness is a great farm stay B&B in a stunning location about 5km from the tiny country town of Mount Perry, inland from Bundaberg, Queensland. The owner/operators, Clive and Deb do an amazing job of making you feel welcome, comfortable and well fed. They go above and beyond the expected. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The property is also wheelchair/elderly visitor friendly with its access ramps, ground floor accommodation and disabled bathroom facilities. We will definitely return and continue to recommend this B&B.

We spent a week with Deb, Clive, Zane and Logan in our caravan looking over the dam. A wonderful friendly family environment in a real country cattle property. We had access to power and water as well as the beautiful facilities associated with the B&B.

We came here on our motorhome tour, and camped next to the dam. In the evening we had a fantastic BBQ meal on the homestead deck. Deb and Clive were very hospitable - could highly recommend this place.

Lovely hosts, but unfortunately it ends there. A winter overnight farm stay, void of a farm tour as promised and very poor meals. Where was the big farm roast and home cooked dessert, as would be assumed on a cattle farm! Also the absence of a substantial country breakfast
Very dissapointing. More research needed on farm stay hosting, folks!!!

if you want to find a unique farmstay, with lots of animals to see and peaceful getaway. with amazing views this is worth the drive. Working cattle station with lots of other animals, goat, sheep, dogs, cats, chickens and horses. do as little or as much as you like.
