Great little country pub. The hotel itself looks great and inviting from the street. Very small public bar, but sufficient and friendly. The food was great and the value for money was good. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and did a great job. Plenty of room outside and is pet and children friendly. Great little pub.

Beautiful gardens out the back and a lovely back patio. The bad: one tiny bathroom in the entire hotel, the food was cold, bartender was very unfriendly. We had a large group that we had booked for so there was plenty of warning. Everyone’s food came out mostly fast, but majority were cold including my Angus Rump inc. the gravy :/
The woman at the bar with the pink hair didn’t crack a single smile or seem to care about the patrons at all.
Patrons are allowed to smoke in the gardens right next to the back patio, which was unfortunate for our family considering we had a few kids with us and it just stinks when you’re trying to enjoy your lunch…there are other smoking areas out the front that weren’t being used.
Won’t go out of my way again to come here- it was overall very, very average.

First time today for lunch with friends. What a surprise to find nicely set tables, white table cloths, comfortable seat and great service. Just had a steak sandwich and it was 10/10. Regular checks to make sure all was okay, but not over the top. Well done and we will definitely go back. Worth the 90k drive.

Disappointing lunch visit. Our hosts from Brisbane took us to lunch as they had been several times before and always had a great meal however we were all disappointed with out steak meals. The eye fillet was not true to name and was overcooked and tough. The rump steaks were also overcooked, not medium and med/rare as requested.
The staff were friendly and helpful however which compensated somewhat.

Made a booking one hour before table was in a great spot with plenty of shade in the beer garden and the publican made us very welcome and brought our Puppy some fresh water. Drinks well priced. Good selection of lunch options including specials board. Steak was cooked to perfection, sorry no photos was too excited to try it. We will be back, thanks Marburg Hotel.

A group of 20 of us had our Christmas breakup at the Marburg Hotel. The food was fabulous and great value. The staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a great location, with easy parking and an access ramp at the rear.

Fantastic old pub with even better rural Queenslanders. No bs here. Great food. Friendly service. Very nice traditional rooms. Fan only to keep it genuine. The beer is cold and they have an extensive range of craft beers, and yuppy drinks. Even the legendary Zero carb Burleigh Bighead. Fantadtic place for a meal and a yarn.

Went to the pub for a meal while the local show was on. Very fast service, great staff and the meals came out very quickly. Chicken burger was amazing and great price, the steak was a huge hit and the steak sandwich went down a treat too. ||Will be stopping in a bit more often!
