A really lovely children’s playground and park on the Port Hedland inlet!

This park is a fabulous clean, modern playground and park area with children’s play equipment, undercover tables and chairs and public toilets. There is also ample parking and easy access to the inlet to watch ships enter and exit as well as public jetty access near by!

I have included a couple of photos of iron ore ships coming in and out of the inlet as well, as checking out these beasts is a great way to kill time at the park.

Best spot to watch the massive ships come in and out of port. You can see the iron ore being loaded onto the ships! Nice part with a little spot to get some food nearby. Great park for kids to play and some picnic tables with shape to enjoy some lunch.

A good place to watch the ships getting loaded with raw materials. Tug boats doing doughnuts is also pretty impressive 🤣
