It’s a slightly unusual set up of different towers of apartments and hotel rooms served by a common reception. We had quite a long walk from reception to the elevator to our room. ||The room was large but quite tired and the bed was very large and comfy. We had a small balcony overlooking Aplin Street and out to the harbour and Coral Sea.||There are no restaurant or bars in the hotel and you are directed to The Villa Romana restaurant nearby. We didn’t use the pool but it looked modern and inviting.||Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Fabulous beach front property located in the heart of Cairns. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a 3 bedroom ocean view room in Tower 1 - loved it, perfect for any family a home away from home. Close to shops, restaurants and night life, the only thing letting the property down is the lack of car spaces. The hotel has free parking but only a handful of parking spaces, can be problematic in peak season, ample on street parking but again in peak season this too is at a premium

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the past year. It's a good hotel. I think it's the best hotel in Cairns to be honest and give it 5 stars. I would stay there again. Feedback is always good however.

Good: Very central location in the area of Cairns which is very safe in comparison to some of the other areas, free untimed undercover parking (there is competition for spots), 24/7 reception. Supermarket, fast food and restaurants literally on the ground floor. Rooms are modern and very clean. Hot water great. TV is great with heaps of premium channels at no extra charge. Every room I have stayed in has had a nice balcony. Price is competitive.

Neutral: It's great that all rooms are equipped with a dehumidifier, however, if the air conditioning was powerful enough and able to remove said humidity this should not be required. In some of the towers the ground floor lobby is air conditioned and comfortable but the lobby on floors 2,3,4,5, etc is not nor is the lifts and it can be very hot, humid, musty and damp. The air conditioner control panel in the rooms is somewhat confusing and does not really explain what the settings do so you are just guessing. 11 is an option on the dial that goes from 11 to 30 for example, is that 11c? 30c? Who knows. I know it's Cairns and humidity is a part of life but the air conditioning could be better. Extra air conditioning here and there in common areas would do wonders and wouldn't care if it costs me extra next time to pay for the cost of it.

Needs improvement: Extra towels and toilet paper provided would be nice. I know you can ask for more at reception and they are open 24 hours but if you book for 2 weeks and are given 2 toilet rolls it's clearly not enough and I don't really think you should have to ask for more. Shower is somewhat open with no door and quite often water leaks out onto the carpet and given the humidity never seems to dry.

Overall I still highly recommend this place.

I spent three nights at the Mantra Trilogy in tower 1. The staff are attentive, helpful, and friendly. Parking is a huge issue as most of the spaces are taken and results in inappropriate parking in the driveway or paid parking on the streets. Room was comfortable as was the bed.

The rooms were clean, however there was some very minor damage to the tiles in the bathroom. The shower had amazing pressure, heat and a hand held shower head. The pool and deck were very nice. Some damage to the tiles, but not really a problem. Not 100% sure what the thinking is behind the frosted glass window into the bathroom? 🤔. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. There is no restaurant or room service. Housekeeping doesn't clean the room during your stay. Exceptional for the price and located in the CBD within walking distance from everything. I highly recommend staying here.

Rooms were tiny, very basic, very small balcony, no daily housekeeping, No water provided.
The hotel was definitely central to absolutely everything you need and fantastic restaurants!
Good for a room to sleep in, definitely not comfortable to spend any time in.

Very comfortable and roomy. The room gave views in a few directions. Located directly above the main part of the Cairns Esplanade. The room was clean and having a dehumidifier running in the room there was no mold, which was great to see.

We just enjoyed a weekend in cairns staying here. We checked in Thursday afternoon and we discovered the lights in our room and bsthroom were not working (but lamp and tv were working). We called reception and they resolved the situation by giving us the option to move to another room (upgrade) as an apology for the inconveience. Thank you for promptly rectifying our situation (lovely asst mgr i think her name was citra?). The upgraded room was great - had everything we needed and a massive comfy bed for my mum and I. Staff were so helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Location is handy to everything. Would stay here again.
