Dining both restaurant and breakfast was quite acceptable, Location is good, Staff friendly but the comfort of the bed was totally unacceptable. Bed was two singles pushed together but of different heights and one side sloped away. did not have any decent sleep there over 4 nights. will not return unless that changes. Also all carpet throughout looks old and overdue for replacement.

Stayed 2 nights in studio room. Easy check in. Welcome drinks a bit tricky as bar not open (not sure if this is just weekends). Restaurant also not open for dinner. Lots of parking. Good value. Stayed on level 6. Carpet pretty horrid and whole floor definitely needs makeover. Room very spacious. Small hotplate and microwave, but no saucepan etc for any form of cooking, so hotplate useless. Good sized bathroom but bath either needs grab rail or rubber mat to prevent slipping. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Value for money was great, but wouldn't be my first choice based on overall presentation

I stayed two nights in a comfort suite at the Mantra Parramatta while travelling for work. The room was spacious, and clean but honestly, the staff were the best part of the stay – reception and bar staff were friendly and professional, and I had a great coffee in the morning. They're doing their absolute best with what they have.

But the hotel is letting them down. The air conditioning was so loud I barely slept, waking constantly both nights – I’ve been up since 2am on the last.

There were no USB charging points, tea and coffee were poorly stocked (just two breakfast tea sachets), and there was no bottled water in the fridge. Not ideal when arriving late and unfamiliar with the area.

The bath wasn’t clean, and worst of all, the towels reeked of rancid kitchen oil – clearly washed with kitchen linens. That’s a serious hygiene issue, and management should know better. Towels and kitchen cloths should never be washed together.

Breakfast times weren’t clear either – signage by the lift said one thing, the in-room info said another.

What’s frustrating is that the staff are doing a great job, but it’s clear they’re stretched. The hotel knows how many bookings it has – why cut corners and risk pushing good people over the edge?

Reception were very welcoming, we had a complimentary drink that we received through our ACCOR member account and the lady in the bar area was very hospitable and friendly.
The rooms are very spacious but I do think the bathrooms need a revamp.
Our fridge was only moderately working, I had some ice bricks I placed in the freezer and they didn’t freeze.

I only stayed for 1 night, but I had a pleasant experience. The staff on both morning and evening shifts were very hospitable and friendly and assisted me with everything I needed. The room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable which was the most important thing for me. My only complaint was that the bathroom felt a bit antiquated and some of the amenities were difficult to use, but it didn't bother me too much. The room was clean when I checked in and there was a pleasant ambience to the room. The view was also very nice. Overall I had a great experience and I would stay again.

Well located in Parramatta. Close to railway station and major shopping centre. Room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Not the most comfortable bed I've slept in, but far from the worst. Shame that the restaurant was closed for the duration of our stay.

This was probably one of the most disappointment stay in all my travels for the price range.
A distinct drain smell in the room. Room were old and need serious renovation.
Staff were friendly but not with a level of professionalism you would expect for a 4-star hotel

This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

The room was dated, dusty, and poorly maintained — I even found an empty water bottle under the bedside table on arrival. The bathroom mirror was so smeared it was hard to see a proper reflection.

The worst was the bed, which reeked of deep heat ointment. I tried three separate times to have the bedding changed: the first night, no one answered after 10 minutes of ringing. The next morning, reception promised it would be addressed — it wasn’t. I followed up again that afternoon, and still nothing was done. My entire 3 night stay, they failed to change the bedding after consistently complaining of it smelling. Can you imagine?

Adding to the discomfort, the hotel sits above a major road with extreme traffic noise. I had to sleep with noise-cancelling AirPods to get any rest.

Despite having a listed room service number and menu online, I was told no room service was available. The only option was to collect food from the restaurant myself, which entirely defeats the purpose.

Phone calls to reception went unanswered more than once, including one instance where I waited on the line for 20 minutes.

When I finally checked out and was able to speak with someone about the issues I’d experienced, the response was simply, “oh ok, sorry to hear that.” There was no interest in hearing the details and clearly no intention to take any action.

Neglect, poor communication, and a complete lack of guest care. I would not return, and I strongly suggest others look elsewhere. Absolutely not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination.
