Have visited friends staying here, and come for meals previously, this occasion we have decided to book in for a few days, as attending a conference tomorrow;
First impressions, of room, immaculately clean, quite so far, can open window, thats good, bed king size, very comfortable, bath room big, and has a bath, which spouse thought wonderfull after 400km trip today!
Will update this review over next 2 days!

Negative things observed so far, fridge too small,no microwave in room, fridge needs defrosting, therefore an older model, not efficient cooling, & will notify night manager enroute to bistro soon;
Put cans drinks in fridge 1.5 hrs ago, not overly cold yet;
Will update restaurent/bistro review later this evening;
Room lighting not very good, low output bulbs, unable to read paper while sitting on couch, needs reading lamp with at least 75w bulb type, next to couch;

Service level was just acceptable, very poor attention to real customer service. Worst experienced in an Accor operated location. Breakfast location was ridiculous and had to chase reception staff to refill empty breakfast containers each day.

Located at the Melton Entertainment Park. We arrived quite late and the main check in counter was closed but a staff member was able to check us in after we buzzed for service. The car parking is complimentary and there is plenty of it. The room was large and beds comfortable. I was surprised that a simple breakfast was included. This consisted of cereal and toast, basic but enough for us to start our day. Easy to find and close to main roads.

Rooms were fine, staff helpful. Had our car broken into and laptop stolen from the carpark out the front on the hotel so beware and don't leave valuables in your car here

Ok accomodation for short stay and clean but abit far out from any public transportation and hard to get cab etc, not to mention the traffic.

The Mantra Melton was absolutely brilliant. The staff were so friendly and indulged in a few laughs. Great view of the trotting and food was excellent. Such a comfortable atmosphere. The Mantra Melton in my and my guests opinion...THE BEST...well done all. My name is Greg Havelberg and I am a musician my channel on youtube is @GregHavelberg-qq6tm and my music is played on radio and I will recommend The Mantra Melton to all people I know. All the staff, from the reception to restaurant, were extremely friendly, going out of their way to assist us. They even had a complementary breakfast, which we did not expect, but what a cost saving. The hotel room and hallways smelt fresh and clean every day. Would definitely go there again, really homely feel.
