The welcome drink was nice for members. The host seemed nice at welcome, I was not given clear direction for carpark lift, it was confusing on departure also I had a foot 🦶 pain and needed help with exit for gate, but the reception didn't care. Alot of walking back and forth. The unit was ok, shower nice large king bed very comfortable. But room looked tied carpet stained and marks over walls. Needs maintenance.
Overall, wouldn't stay again myself but would recommend to others as it's cheap.

Good location for what we needed, easy check-in, common areas are nice. Room was poorly cleaned with a great deal of dust on bed head, crumbs on the chairs and hair balls on the floor of the shower.Given it's on a main road it should have double glazing. The air-conditioning did not work and it was a warm night.Housekeeping tried to barge in at 9:40am - check out isn't until 10am and I'm not sure why I should be bothered before then. On the whole I would not go back and did not find it value for money.

The two nights at Mantra MacArthur was a home away from home. The rooms were pretty clean, with basic yet modern offerings and a very comfortable bed and quilt. Each staff member I interacted with was professional and warm, and the location is quite central with easy Light Rail access. Parking is secure and not too expensive.

The location is perfect and the cleanliness is remarkable. Reception is 24/7 open which is such a good part of the stay. The restaurant offers a good food range. Housekeeping came daily in my 8 day stay. They even helped me book my taxi. Parking is available at minimal|Cost

Good location and access.

Rooms could be a bit cleaner with the bathrooms having a bit of mould/ soap scum in the corners and one of the rooms I had was missing a shelf in the bathroom.

Breakfast offering good and met my needs. Bar a perfect spot to meet friends and your travelling companions.

I recently stayed at Mantra MacArthur Hotel in Canberra for five days, and while the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, I found the facilities a little lacking.

During our stay, housekeeping only serviced our room once, which was a bit surprising for a hotel of this standard. The gym’s water cooler was empty and had no cups available, and the reception area was often left unattended, making it difficult to get assistance at times.

That said, the staff were lovely whenever they were available, and the hotel itself has potential. I would still recommend it, but it wasn’t one of the best experiences I’ve had. With a few improvements in service consistency, it could be a great place to stay.

We loved our stay at Mantra MaCarthur. The hotel is in a great location just a short walk to Canberra CBD and the rooms are modern, clean and tidy. Breakfast and parking are available, the staff are friendly and the place is quiet for a good nights sleep.

Overall every aspect was good and as advertised. The breakfast lounge captain Cassandra was exceptionally warm and welcoming.

One issue with the hotel is that it is advertised as having on-site parking, but they don't tell you when you book that it's $15 extra daily. Still, the parking is secure and undercover, and convenient to access, so worth the cost.
