The location is great, the staff are friendly and helpful. Cleanliness is good and the reception desk is staffed most of the time. The value for money is not there, very pricey for the size and quality of the apartment, probably 50% more than a 5* hotel without the quality kitchen fit out to justify it. The second room is way too small. The balcony is large, which is great with the ocean views, facing north.

Overall the apartment was very nice. The bed was a little firm however and we would’ve appreciated clean towels after a couple of days into our stay (rather than your policy of more than 4 nights, then apartment is cleaned Inc fresh towels etc). Highly recommend an ocean view room, this really made it worth staying here.

Loved staying at the Mantra. Ladies at reception were so helpful and could not do enough for us. Pool area was really lovely and our apartment was really comfortable and had everything you needed.
The view was the highlight as we woke up every morning to a magnificent expanse of Coolangatta beach. Close to shops and across the road from beach.
Will definitely stay here again.

Top location, close to shops, restaurants and opposite the beach all in walking distance, no car needed. Great facilities and well kept building. Rooms have all you need, one bedroom apartment is spacious, great for couples or singles. The staff and service is excellent, shout-out to Debbie who goes over and above.

Our favorite hotel in Coolangatta. Staff are amazing & do everything possible to make your stay memorable. Apartments are spotless & well appointed with great views. Location is perfect, close to beach, restaurants & shopping complex. In my opinion the best hotel in Coolangatta. A wonderful experience, would highly recommend

We stayed in a 2 bedroom ocean view (floor 12 room 1) The apartment was very dated and old looking. At $400 for 1 night we expected more luxury than old. There was a weird smell in the hallway by the lifts and also a weird smell in the apartment itself. If we had of walked in off the street and viewed the apartment prior to booking and paying we would of gone somewhere else. The pool at the complex was its only saving grace.

Thanks for a great stay. The Mantra at Coolangatta has very friendly, welcoming staff. The rooms and public spaces are well presented, clean and tidy. My studio room had all I needed and was well equipped. Comfortable bed and comfortable pillows. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The facilities are great. The Mantra Coolangatta is well placed among many restaurants and cafes. It as public transport at it’s door. I was on the ground floor which was very quiet. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. This was my third stay at The Mantra Coolangatta and I am keen to visit again.

Definitely a dated property with bare bone rooms. Nothing luxurious but would certainly be great for a family beach trip. Laundry was in each unit which was convenient. Note the WiFi was unreliable. However it was clean, the staff was wonderful, and the location can’t be beat!
