Stayed here for 6 nights. Great location near the Corso, minutes walk to beach and wharf. Good sized balcony with Bbq. Nice to have access to a pool and gym. Slightly conflicting information between on line pack and that in the apartment, but very responsive when couldn't access WiFi.

We stayed at Manly National for 10 days along with our two kids. I admit that reading previous reviews, we were a bit worried about the stay, but during our stay I could not find a fault. Yes, it is a basic furnished apartment, but cleaned and you have all facilities, we did not need anything more. The appartment isfully serviced only once a week.||The location is indeed great as it is just few steps from the beach, and a lot of restaurants and Coles supermarket. The management was very helpful and accomodationg, during check-in we had lots of extra luggage and they were kind enough to store in their office till next day.||We had a 2 br. appartment on the 9th floor, with excellent ocean views.||We had to pay extra for late check-in / check-out, parking and internet.||Overall satisfied and will surely stay again

My family have a one week timeshare here, and have done for a few years. We just got back from an awesome break - the apartment itself is small and basic, but it is clean and has all you need for a week of self catering (if desired) or at the foot step of great restaurants, bars and hotels. We got a week of free parking - so parked the car and went on foot everywhere - cause everything is walking distance. A few trips to Coles for supplies can save you a lot of $$. A lovely bakery practically at the front door is a must, as well as the weekend Manly market.||Was it noisey? Yes, it was on New Years Eve, but we did sleep with our windows open, the rest of the week was fine with us getting some good sleep Zzzz's in the bank :)||Apartment size is perfect for couples, a squeeze with children but we weren't there to sit around the room - we were off on a Sydney adventure, and that we did in one of the best locations on offer - Manly - beach on one side, harbour the other - just perfect.

My partner and I stayed at Manly National Apartments in April 2013 while relocating to Sydney. It was the most terrible place we have ever stayed. ||||Photos on the website are misleading of the quality, and fit out of the rooms, as are the manager's recommendations if you call. Apartments are sparse and very basic. Advertised queen beds are king-single sized...double if you are really lucky. Oven and stovetop are from the 80s and don't work. The kitchen sink will accommodate a single plate during washing up and not more. Worse still is the rangehood that spews cooking smoke back into the room.||||A permanent musty smell of cigarets and alcohol permeates the building, and locks on your door are feeble at best. Cockroaches are rife, and be careful you don't step on the rats as you walk out the door to the street.||||Walls are hollow, so be prepared to become good friends with the neighbours. Towels are old. Bathroom has no fan.||||You may speak with Tanya - if you have a complaint be prepared for her to treat you like a scolded 5 year old. We requested being transferred to a room that met what was described to us when booking - namely a queen bed and full kitchen. We were actually told to stop being juvenile and she would only meet these requirements if we coughed up substantially more cash.||||I would never recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel is in a good location, has nice rooms, and on the Ocean side lovely views. But there are a number of failings which you don't expect for a hotel which charges these prices:||||- the aircon made an intermittent loud rattling noise. Surely the cleaning staff must have noticed this. But nothing done.||||- the wifi costs $24 for one night, Apart from it being excessive, it did not work properly, and I could not send e mails from my i pad. Everywhere else in New South Wales the wifi was fine, including the library at Manly, so the fault is with the settings of the hotel system.||||- there is bad noise insulation between he room and the corridor, with a big gap under the door letting noise in,||||- the bath/shower is unsafe. It has a high side, and there is no handle to hold onto when climbing in. Definitely not safe for people who are old or frail.||||- there is no chair available to sit on outside on the balcony, only an uncormfortable settee. The only chairs in the room are too big and heavy to take outside..||||||All these things are indicative of a poorly managed hotel, which fails to meet its excellent potential,

Manly National is an 70s apartment building one block back from the beach but with some ocean views - we have stayed here three times on the 9th floors ||||Very central to everything you need - great little cafes off the corso where locals eat and a short walk from the Manly Ferry .||||We book the one bedroom apartment when we can each year for one week in Spring - self catering with no room service - just what we want. Rooms more than adequate for two - modern enough - not spacious (just re-arrange the lounge and furniture to suit) but fine when you spend the time staring out to sea or out walking the beach and surrounds - reading books etc - and plenty of local food is take out so that you can eat in the room.||||great place to stay for 2 people. Parking easy as part of the deal. ||||suggest book through: http://www.manlyapartments.com.au

So close to everything, beaches, shopping, eating, supermarket, and ferry. Easy check in with Colin who is very helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. I love the separation of the bedroom and bathroom from the living area, kitchen. ours was down a short set of stairs. I'll definitely be back.

Right in the middle of Manly. Walk to shops, beach and ferry. Short trip to Luna Park via ferry.||Accommodation was clean & tidy. It has everything you need. Lovely bed/bathroom. Lounge room was a bit small but you don't go on holidays to sit on a lounge all day, just to watch a movie at night if you are not enjoying the restaurants. I will stay again for sure.
