We looked at a few venues, hoping to find somewhere for a late lunch, early dinner after having returned from MONA. As Manky Sally's was mentioned, we ended up there and chose a table in the restaurant area at the back. We spent between 4 to 5 hours there and enjoyed a number of different dishes. These included the Tapioca Crack Crackers, Triple Cooked Chips, Sesame Prawn Toast, Wallaby Rump Steak and a cooked venison dish. Other than the chips (not nice at all), everything was lovely. The venison dish had a modest warmth, whilst the wallaby was crispy and tender. My friend's comment to the prawn toast was along the lines of 'wow, this isn't from a freezer' - high praise indeed. What we really enjoyed was not being rushed, the wait staff being friendly and observant, and the atmosphere of the room lending itself to us losing track of time and not even being aware of the sun setting! I can also recommend the Spicy Margarita - yum!

All the brilliant MONA vibes in a pub down in Salamanca place. Love the Moo Brew and also loved both the Szechuan fries (so spicy 🌢️) and prawn toast. Great vibes and service as expected β™₯️

Great barman with excellent knowledge.
Now, there's beer and that's why I'm here.
Nice drop/s as I can only do plural, and the joint does this so, so well.
Got great music going even at lunch on Sunday.
Feel it would be even better at night with DJ and bigger better vibe.
Moo brew is a great producer, sample some core beers but do the seasonal products.
Do yourself a favour and support independent brewers and their business. And remember it's fun, so enjoy.
Oh, they do food as well. But I'm a beer man so gotta plead, don't know.

Nice β€œhidden” lounge /bar in the city. No sticky surfaces or floors so was good. Macchiato Espresso was delicious but felt like it was a mini version of a normal cocktails. The condensed milk ice cream as an affogato was not good and would never order it again. Place is missing maybe some live music.

Went the for half price happy hour before dinner. The beer was great the oyster was good but the Nam Jim dressing was abit over powering , for half price really can't complaint about it.

As Moo Brew's new location in Salamanca Place, Manky Sally's is an eccentric bar that also serves as a nano-brewery.

Diners can ogle at the low, moody lighting as they tuck into creative dishes. The Albacore Tuna Tartare with pickled zucchini, snowpeas & crostini was light and bursting with flavour.

We also had the Wallaby Rump Steak with chimmichurri and triple cooked chips, which were slightly underseasoned for my liking but overall tasty.

The staff were very personable and accommodating, as well as knowledgeable on the alcohol and history of Manky Sally's.
