I recently stayed at this beautiful resort and had an amazing experience. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were absolutely lovely—welcoming, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Karen at the front desk was especially nice giving us information about the things to do locally & offered to help us if we wanted to book anything & was happy to check the weather to recommend when the best time to go on trips to the reef, etc.

One of the standout features of the resort was the four stunning pools, each offering a unique atmosphere. Whether you wanted a quiet, peaceful swim, the lap pool or a more lively vibe, there was a perfect spot for everyone. The beach was only a short walk away too from the back gate.

Overall, the resort exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

This was certainly an experience i will never forget. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was perfectly decorated, the beds were extremely comfortable and the television had all the best streaming services. The pool was the perfect temperature and the view of the mountain is impeccable and left us all speechless. This resort 100% most certainly deserves 5 stars. No complaints.

A friend and I stayed at Mango Lagoon for 6 nights. First impressions were good, and we hoped this would continue. However, the cafe isn't open so there is no food available. We stayed in Room 4B which is split from the main apartment. It had two single beds with minimal facilities. The main problem was the bathroom has no window, ventilation or anyway to cool the room. The bathroom fan may as well be pulled out as it doesn't work. On finishing your shower, you were immediately hot and sweaty. The Air Con smelt musty, so we turned it off and used the overhead fan. The staff were helpful, and we can vouch for the wonderful massage lady. We went back for a second massage.

Lovely well set planned resort with beautiful pools and a short walk to Palm cove beach. Stayed in a King bed budget room. Have one of their delicious cocktails by the pool & relax. Offers massage & a spa experience. Free wifi & self parking!!!

This place is very pretty, very clean and the pool is so pretty. Walking distance to the beach and very big. The only reason I didn’t leave 5 stars is because of the neighbour.. we stayed 2 nights. On our first night he came out of his room and got mad at us for making a noise with the door. (We were struggling to lock it) the second night we were in the pool area where he proceeded to come out of his room again and told us we need to be quiet cause he couldn’t sleep last night and that we kept lots of people awake. (We went to bed at 10:30) He was very rude.

Save for the pillows...beautiful apartment. Lots of space. Nice and clean. Great swimming facilities. MAGNIFICENT landscaping. Walk to beach. Polite, courteous and helpful management. Oven, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer...Needed to get new toaster. Request answered in lightening fashion. Spa on site. Massage, facials...Small coffee shop...Perhaps the only complaint, coffee shop not always open. If you are searching for peace and tranquility...Mango Lagoon Resort is for you.

Big spacious upstairs apartment, very clean, full modern kitchen, 'starter' amenities supplied. The building design doesn't allow any outside space in the upstairs apartments but the the louvred windows open fully to allow light and air in. ||Wasn't a fan of the shower-over-spa-bath arrangement with a big step over the side to get in, an open window to the bedroom, with shower curtain, but no shower curtain on the bathroom side so water splashes onto the floor. The sofas and beds were a bit hard but that's personal taste. Apartment had all facilities for a short or long stay including new washer and dryer.||The grounds and gardens are beautiful and well-kept, choice of 4 sparkling pools. It's only a 5-10 minute walk to the main restaurant strip and beach, the advantage of this means it's a very quiet and tranquil location. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the open-air reception is welcoming and tropical.||I find Palm Cove in general a bit overpriced but this resort is excellent value and I had a great stay!

Stayed here for 10 days and had mixed feeling about this place. Its designed for long stay and wouldn't recommend for short stay, as it doesn't land on the "4-star" hotel standards.

Pros: Quiet resort, close to beaches and have several pools. Parking is free on the resort and provide easy access to both Cairns and Rainforest.

Cons: Property is a bit outdated and our room had old mattresses. They were sinking to the point that we couldn't sleep properly. We shared about this issue with management twice and response we got was "thanks for your feedback".

Overall this place has good price value for long stays and you get a spacious apartment with kitchen and all. But if you are looking for a short stay with no issues, I will pay slightly extra and live in other hotels.
