Couldn’t find a review of this property on TripAdvisor so I read reviews on other sites and some were not that great. So when we turned up we expected to find a fibro shack but were pleasantly surprised to find a modern apartment building. Sure, there was only half a toilet roll and two coffee sachets, and it could probably do with some routine maintenance, but it was clean, functional and fully operating. And when you consider the cost is half to a third of that of other apartments nearby, and the cost of this one-bedroomed apartment in a quiet street the same as a motel room a few blocks away right beside a noisy road we thought this just represented amazing value for money.

We have just spent a week at the Mango Cover Resort, and when we first arrived we thought for the money it wasn't too bad. Until our first night of sleep, which was non-existent, the mattress was that old the springs were poking us in the back everytime we moved around, on getting up the whole bed groaned. We found some additional bedding which we decided to use to pad the bed up for some more comfort. But lo and behold, when we stripped the sheets off the mattress I was gob-smacked with the state of it, their urine stains, semen stains and blood stains all over the mattress, the rest of the unit wasnt much better. When you have a business that supplies accommodation to tourists you would think there would have been better quality. As with being in the hospitality industry and owning a B&B in Te Anau I know what things should be. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great place, was there on the weekend of the 16-18th February. Great room, full kitchen, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, all kitchen items and pots, pans, fry pan, cutlery and plates, glasses etc. You can even do laundry if you want, washing machine and dryer. I will be back for sure.

Worst Ever..... We Stayed in room 14 we were booked to stay 28/12/15 to the 2/1/16
but we had to cut our family holiday due to the room being FULL of FLEAS. The place just full of dust, let alone NO SMOKE ALARM. So we payed for 5 nights left after bearing 3. now were home early and all of us a just covered in flea bites................1 word for this room is PUTRID. will NEVER stay there again NEVER

I was only using for the day but was a lovey and quiet gem hidden away only minute from Broadwater and the Grand Hotel in Labrador. Recommended to families.

Absolutely disgusted with this hotel, was told I would be compensated for finding a used syringe in my kitchen, the lady at the reception said she would give us a full refund and did not called us Volga names and was absolutely rude. Do not recommend this hotel.
