My wife and I recently had the pleasure of hosting our small and intimate wedding reception at Maldini's by the River, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, personal, and truly memorable.
We had a guest list of just 30 people, and the venue was the perfect size. Elegant and cosy, with a warm atmosphere and beautiful riverside views. The food was absolutely delicious and received endless compliments from our guests. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented.
We met with Dave, one of the owners, a couple of times in the lead-up to the big day. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and easy to talk to. Dave took the time to walk us through table and chair layouts, decoration options, and food choices. He was very accommodating with any requests we had, no matter how small, and made us feel completely at ease throughout the planning process.
On the day itself, everything went so smoothly. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our celebration special. We didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Thank you to Dave and the team at Maldini's for helping make our wedding day exactly what we hoped for. If you're looking for a venue that delivers excellent food, service, and care in a stunning setting, we highly recommend Maldini's by the River.

I love this place, affordable, tasty and decent portions - the wait staff are friendly and the food came out quickly. The menu has a nice offering of delicious food, whilst not offering an excessively amount of choices. There was nine of us eating and the meals came out timely. The pasta, pizza, proteins and salad were all excellent, the only dishes I wouldn’t recommend was the gnocchi, a tough dish at the best of times, and this one didn’t hit the mark.

Before I proceed with my review, I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone in our group a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year. I look forward to returning next year with more reviews.
This afternoon, Michelle S., Michelle C., and I enjoyed a delightful lunch at Maldini’s.
The service provided today was exemplary, with the staff being both helpful and attentive. Upon our arrival, Michelle guided me through the menu, and I ultimately decided on the meat lover's pizza. This pizza featured BBQ sauce, pepperoni, ham, bacon, and cabanossi.
I asked if this pizza could be turned into a calzone and our waiter David accommodated my request.
The calzone proved to be an exceptional choice for any meat enthusiast. The combination of BBQ sauce, pepperoni, ham, bacon, and cabanossi resulted in a rich and satisfying flavor profile. The smoky BBQ sauce complemented the savory meats perfectly, and the dough was expertly prepared—crispy on the outside while remaining soft and chewy on the inside.
I highly recommend this delectable calzone to all members of our group.
Michelle S. opted for a pumpkin salad and noted that she would have preferred baby spinach in place of some of the other ingredients.
Michelle C. selected a Haloumi salad and expressed her satisfaction with the dish.
To conclude our meal, I indulged in a creamy flat white coffee, which was thoroughly enjoyable.
Maldini’s receives a ten out of ten for outstanding customer service and pleasant atmosphere. The music selection was appropriate, featuring numerous tracks from the 1980s and 1990s

I extend my gratitude to David and his team for their excellent hospitality today.

You can’t beat a good Italian Restaurant and Maldini’s is excellent. We love this place. They always find us a table. Some of the best Italian food I’ve eaten. Service is great.

Was seated ten minutes early, service was great. Our food came quickly and tasted delicious. Got a generous discount as my partner requested no seafood in her pasta and was more than happy with the great experience.

The grilled salmon was beautiful! Such a wonder blend of flavours, I love the drizzle of pesto. The salmon was lovely and crispy too. Service was timely and absolutely wonderful. The overall vibe was very calm and great for a Friday night out. Highly recommend, and we will be back soon!

We've been to Maldini's for both lunch and dinner. The service is always warm and friendly, especially when helping me set up a table for my baby. The coffee is great and the food lovely. The front outdoor area is especially cozy with the new heaters and blinds.
