Perfect size and location for our family. We loved the colonial-European vibe. Very close to the beach -beautiful sunset and community. Ted the owner was very accommodating - great to have met him. Highly recommended!

The 2 bedroom unit was decorated to match the older style home. We chose the Waterview apartment mainly to sit on the balcony but sadly was too cold. The bedroom we stayed in was very comfortable. With a large bed and table to use. Bit noisy from road. The bathroom small. Step into bath for shower. Kitchen had everything but we didn’t cook. Great to have washing machine/dryer. Lounge area spacious however a very small TV which isn’t the usual, needs to be updated. The iron too? The only heating is a wall heater in lounge room and 1 bedroom and a portable oil heater in 2nd bedroom which we had to move into our bedroom to keep us warm enough. Kitchen was freezing. I wouldn’t like to stay there in the cold months. The larder across the road has closed down but is replaced by BlacFig which is a huge coffee/deli place.

Stayed with my husband and two sons. Plenty of room and they had activities on hand to enjoy. Close to beach and short drive from centre of town. Boys had separate large room from ours (also large) with a generous lounge/ dining and kitchenette. Much nicer than being squashed in one room! Also had access to a private deck and courtyard. An older style building but clean, water is hot and bed is comfortable! Would recommend for families and anyone needing 2 rooms. Ted is lovely and more than helpful. A small market/shop across the road and shopping centres 6min drive for everything else. It does accommodate the usual bath soap/ wash/ shampoo/conditioner etc including real milk for coffee with a coffee machine and all kitchen essentials. A quick look around and you will find anything else basic you may need. Also off street parking. Will definitely stay here again.

A very nice place to stay when looking around Hobart. Older style house very well set up for 2 couples. Well appointed kitchen, big bathroom and comfortable lounge area. Very comfortable beds. Nice little garden to look over. Close to water undercover parking. Easy driving access to sandy bay shopping area. Directly across the road from lidscome larder ( awesome deli ). Highly recommend. Husband, one year old and I had a wonderful two night stay in this house. It is only a five minute drive from the city centre. The property itself backs on to a beach through a laneway. Across the street you have a specialty supermarket. The house is very comfortable, undercover parking is available at the back. The garden unit is beautiful, has a faux fireplace, fully functioning kitchen and laundry (including dryer), 2 very spacious bedrooms and a||Lot of old world charms.

We had about a week in the downstairs 2 bedroom apartment. Was fantastic for us to walk to Sandy Bay Sailing Club for our regatta. Had everything we needed. Lipscomb larder across the road i miss you already. The walk up Mt Nelson each day helped with the larder location. We had a couple of 30c days and were worried about no AC or fans but the rooms stayed cool and the breeze came in a night. Ted the Manager was great to deal with.

Nice place in an excellent location. The larder across the street is excellent for food, snacks and open at 7am for coffee and breakfast goods. We stayed in the garden suite with my brother and his wife. Kitchen is well equipped and includes a washer and dryer. Nice short beach walk just a few yards away. How very helpful when the toaster blew a circuit. Place is a little dated but nice. The location is perfect for our needs. Not far from many restaurants. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Maison. Sandy Bay is not too far from Hobart. The apartment was comfortable and had everything required. The off street parking was very useful. The only slight negative was coming into the apartment via a bedroom.
