This is such a cozy lodge. I 100% recommend a stay here. The location is gorgeous as you’re up in the mountains and you’re surrounded by nature. Brisbane is only an hour drive away!
We were well cared for and the room was spacious and clean.

Lucy and Joe made us feel at home. The homemade cookies and personal welcome note in the room were a lovely touch. The place is spotless, peaceful and gorgeous. We spent three nights and we are looking forward to going back again! Great walks around the area too. Ideal for families, couples and friends.

We stayed at Bowerbird Cottage, clean, cosy and quiet with a fully equipped kitchen. Freshly baked cookies were left on our kitchen table along with a lovely Welcome card. It was just what we needed to recharge our batteries Thank you Joe, Lucy and Ava

Nicely designed, spacious rooms and comfortable bed with a great view. The interior smelled a bit musty, which could be due to the antique furniture. The interiors are nice and clean, but the outdoor areas (such as pool, tennis court) seemed a bit unkempt and disorderly so that we did not want to use the pool. The large kitchen was great to prepare food but the towels needed to be changed more often in the common areas because those were really dirty. All in all, our stay was very pleasant and relaxing.

We stayed in Bowerbird Cottage, clean and cosy, had everything we needed for our weekend away, a jar of homemade cookies were waiting for us on our kitchen table and Joe delivered our milk to us. Willow their dog came to visit every day for a tummy rub, Thank you for a memorable weekend in your beautiful part of the country

Our family booked a few rooms here on Mount Glorious during a wedding weekend we attended in Sanford Valley. - What a beautiful place to stay. Lucy was a great host and the rooms were lovely. We would highly recommend Maiala Lodge.

Lucy and Joe were very welcoming and attentive hosts while maintaining privacy. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and the decor was perfectly suited to the environment with many personal touches to reflect the style, values and hospitality of the hosts. The perfect home away from home.

Such a peaceful location walking distance to the bikers Cafe- my husband rides, so he enjoyed meeting up with other likeminded people. The room was just lovely, very large with a gorgeous view. Had access to chefs kitchen and beautiful main house. We cooked our own dinner, enjoyed the music and views. Jo was a great host and gave us a jar of home made white chocolate and macadam cookies- just delish. Wished the weather was kinder and we could have used the pool and tennis court. Would highly recommend but stay for more than 1 night. Winter would be magical with the fireplace.
