Great service so open and happy to assist. Room as shown and very comfortable. Would certainly stay again and was great with pub across the road.

We were stopping in Mackay on our way to Townsville and decided to book here after looking at their information online. We have traveled some over the last few months for medical appointments and this place was better than any of our other stays. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bed was very soft with plenty of pillows, there was a full size fridge, a microwave, and 2 burner cooktop in the room along with a kettle and dishes, plates, and eating utensils. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit this way.

We are on the way to Cairns. Pulled in last night for a break. Rebooked again this morning for another night due to flooding on highway.
Reception and cleaners could not be any more helpful and friendly. Bent over backwards to accommodate us, even though we had to change rooms they got it sorted very quick and it was a quick change over.
Rooms very clean and comfortable. Location is perfectly central to everything we need. Will definitely be back and highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Fantastic customer service - couldn’t be any more helpful. Great rooms - family room has a perfect layout. Very comfortable beds, very neat and clean rooms. Kids loved the pool. Great meals at restaurants. Close to everything that you might need. Highly recommend!

Not what we were expecting after viewing photos on line. |Restaurant is NOT open despite what the website says. |Our room smelt mouldy and everything was damp. Bed and towels included. |Bed was a 5 out of 10.|We kept the windows open to let the smell out but ran the air con at the same time. |Cups are so heavy that I can't imagine an elderly person managing them. |Only 1 wine glass in the fridge. |Although the room was supposedly recently renovated the shower had mould between the tiles. Nothing a squirt of bleach or white vinegar wouldn't fix. |Noisy being on the highway near the road. |Would I return, probably not. We specifically chose this place as it had a restaurant on site and we had to travel for 9 hours and didn't want to have to drive again. This was disappointing. |I believe it is extremely important to be honest with your potential guests. That applies to any business. Better to be honest than to have guests leaving with negative thoughts feelings like they had not been told the truth.

We stayed at Mackay Resort Motel for the Mackay Indigenous Carnival this weekend and couldn’t fault them. The beds are the most comfortable beds I have slept on at a hotel, all employees were so lovely & helpful including the cleaners. The rooms were cleanly & well presented. They are right around the corner from IGA which is open 24/7 as well which was really helpful for us. Highly recommend 🙂

The owners here went above and beyond to help me out during an emergency situation after getting stuck outside of town late one evening. I cannot recommend highly enough. The room was great, comfy beds, service was beyond great. I will be back, huge thanks.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Very, Very helpful and friendly staff. Great food and room service. Restaurant is very nice. Great location. Close to sporting facilities. Will definitely stay here again when travelling for sport.
