As we arrived at Lythgo’s Row we knew we were in for a treat!

Nestled in a grove with green tree canopies, the enticing entrance drew us inside.

The charm, cosiness and quiet luxury that greeted us, continued throughout this dear cottage. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to ensure guest comfort and well being. Lawrence and Susan are the ultimate hosts, their discernment and placement of everything from power points to the chaise longue works brilliantly.

We, and our two toy poodles, were spoilt with goodies and treats.

It was wonderful having easy access to a pretty outside space, a table for two and area for the poodles….

The comfort and cleanliness throughout was of a superior level. We all enjoyed a marvellous time, and warmly recommend this delightful cottage as a lovely place to stay.

And did I mention the large, fluffy white towels on a heated towel rail… bliss.

There will never be words to describe how truly wonderful Lythgo's Row is. Beyond the exceptionally beautiful cottages, filled with quality treats to enjoy, a kitchen with all the necessities plus more, an ambience that is inviting, cosy, elegant and impeccably executed, are Lawrence and Susan. They are the most accommodating, warm spirited and kind hearted hoteliers, hosts and humans that you could ever hope to meet.

Lythgo's Row was our 'home between homes' as we relocated to Tasmania. I can't imagine a more perfect or welcoming place to have stayed and will wholeheartedly recommend to friends and family and anyone needing accommodation around the Hobart, New Norfolk, Pontville area to stay here.

Wow, what a wonderful place to stay on my first trip to Tasmania. The accommodation is immaculate, comfortable and very roomy and the hosts provided a basket of goodies including bread and condiments for breakfast to start the day. The location is beautiful and conveniently located to wineries and Richmond and it was easy to get to Hobart. I highly recommend a stay here.

Never have I ever had such a wonderful experience at a hotel. On arrival, we were met with a lovely gift basket of treats and the most beautifully decorated rooms. We stayed at Lythgo cottages for the night before and the night of our wedding. A week before the wedding Lawrence offered to drive us to the wedding in his rolls royce! He even had it all decked out with wedding ribbons. Then when we returned that night, he had even left us a wedding card and gift. We have already decided to go back here for our one year anniversary because of how wonderful our stay has been. Thank you Lawrence and Susan.

Thank you Lawrence and Susan for providing such lovely accommodation with so many thoughtful touches. |Spotlessly clean, comfortable and inviting, with such a comfortable bed and pillows! Our concerns about noise during the night from the pub opposite and being so close to the road, were dispelled on the first of our 2 nights staying in cottage 1. We slept so well, waking gently in the morning to the birdsong in the gardens.|The welcome hamper was delightful, with so many treats, especially the fudge which is to die for. Great bathroom (although navigating the steep staircase in the middle of the night was a concern for us, being that we're elderly) with such nice toiletries and lovely hot water for showering. Thank you for helping me sort out the wifi connection, since we don't have a smart phone with QR code scanner and a chance to meet and pat your gorgeous wee dogs. |The location in such a historical area is wonderful and very convenient for exploring around the district, with it also being an easy drive into Hobart. We did walk up to the nearby park to check out more about Mr Lythgo and his importance in the area.|We'll certainly be recommending your cottages to anyone we meet who may be thinking of holidaying in Tasmania.

This accommodation is an absolute gem. The entire space is designed to make you feel right at home—it's cozy and inviting, providing the perfect setting to relax after days of exploring. Initially, I stayed for two nights but extended my stay for an additional two. After a brief visit to Launceston, I found myself returning here to enjoy the remainder of my trip. Lawrence and Susan were incredibly welcoming and always ready to assist with any needs. Highly recommended!
