Such a lovely cafe! Tall ceiling feels spacious, big windows let in plenty of light, and there is a kids play area inside the cafe which is super useful. Got the mushroom jaffle and a mango bubble tea, and they were excellent. Definitely recommend! Will be returning to visit the cats when the cat room opens later.

Getting there was a little confusing as google maps lead me to heisenberg haus, until I spotted a little sign board and followed the dancing coffee beans on the concrete pathway, which lead us to the cafe. We were greeted by the friendly and helpful staff upon arrival and asked if we had a booking (which is a must - as the cat room is super popular). We gave our drink order, the Strawberry slushie was delicious and the giner and apple juice had quite the ginger kick. The cafe was bright and welcoming with comfortable seats, we loved the decor with some cute little quirks, like googly eyes in interesting places. The cat room, while at this stage was not yet finished, it was still well furnished with comfy couches and chairs. After spending an hour cuddling the kittens and cooing over their mischievous play our stomaches were rumbling louder then the kittens purring. We headed back into the cafe - after washing our hands for a jaffle, spaghetti and cheese was our choice and we were not disappointed by the speedy service or the delight to our taste buds. Here ended our visit after picking out some cattitude pins as keepsakes. We had a fabulous time and will most definitely be regular visitors.

I have been to the Ipswich Lucky Cat Cafe multiple times and have always had a lovely experience. The cats are sociable and well taken care of, and the facilities are well set up with different furniture for the cats and a seperate litter room which minimises any possible smell.

The cost for an hour in the cat room which includes a medium drink is $25. I think this is well worth it when you consider the costs for running such a business (vet bills, desexing) and the fact that the money goes into rehoming cats in need.

The rules for the cat rooms are generally just to treat the cats with respect and ensure that you’re not encouraging bad habits such as playing with hands, as the cats are adoptable. I would advise going during the week if possible as it’s generally much quieter and less overwhelming for the cats. In the mornings, the cats are generally more playful, and in the afternoons the cats are quieter and more sleepy.

I haven’t tried the food yet, although they have a good selection, and I have enjoyed the drinks I have tried. They have a great range, with milkshakes, coffees, frappes, slushies as well as iced tea. A medium drink is included with the cat room fee, and I have found that the medium size is adequate.

All in all I would recommend everyone visit, as it is a great way to support a local business and cat rescue, and get your dose of cat heaven 😊

The kittens are super cute and it’s so nice to hang out with them, the included coffee is a nice gesture.

It’s $50 for 1 hour with the cats, for 2 people.

Took my best friend here for her birthday. The drinks were delicious, we didn't get a chance to try there food.
Spent 55 min in the cat area and had a blast, lots of kittens willing to play and some older cats that loved a good pat! 10/10 reccomend. It is a little bit difficult to find as it's down an alleyway but there is parking spaces.

Went to the cat cafe today and was pleasantly surprised. It was so nice and you could tell the cats were treated extreamly well there. The cost is very reasonable with an amazing range of drinks to choose from for your drink included with purchase. Had a bubble tea and it was extremely good quality and very tasty. I have been to other cat cafes before where the cats seem so fed up and unhappy but due to rules which put the cats happiness first you could tell how looked after they were. The cats were so friendly and happy to see the public and ran straight to the door on entry, showing they weren’t fed up or unhappy. The staff were so lovely and helpful and the experience was very good. Will definetly be visiting again!

Down a quaint alleyway, beside a leafy courtyard, this little cafe is a pure delight! Still under the banner of Dancing Bean cafe, the Lucky Cat cafe has built a calm space for their new residents.
My friend and I spent an hour playing with the cuddly kittens and laughing at their antics. We then moved back into the cafe area to have the cold drink which came with our cat appointment. I chose a Boba tea and my friend got an iced chai. I couldn't resist having a jaffle which was delicious!
There's on street parking (paid) or you could walk up from the free parking under the library, which is what we did. That gave us the opportunity to visit the gorgeous little shops on the way back.
The toilet is located in the nearby office space, which was clean and safe. There's facilities to wash your hands after petting the cats.
I really liked the new venue. Ipswich has never looked so good!

The coffee is good, the stars though are the cats who are an absolute delight.

Cafe has lots of vegan options, service was friendly and informative.

Best value for money in terms of entertainment you can find in Ipswich, as long as you like cats.
