Friendly service, good product knowledge and not an effort to have a minimal conversation whilst waiting. Purchased a bag of smooth criminal and will definitely be back for a coffee with the family. Good atmosphere and pleasant smiles when walking in somewhere makes such a huge impact to such a rough day - Thank you.

I want to start by saying that the kitchen here is brilliant. There is a playful take on classic brunch dishes such as scrambled eggs on toast. The remake had me falling head over for the soft corn bread, the fresh shredded radish and the perfectly grilled halloumi - an absolute delight of a dish. My gratitude to the chef.

However, what lets this place down is its staff on the floor. It was an effort to capture their attention to place our orders. After our meals come out, there was no attempt to check to see if we were enjoying our meals. We then had to hop off our table to ask what had happened to our coffee. When they finally got around to preparing the coffee, it was an incorrect order.

With added care from the floor staff, I cannot see why Straight Up Roasters would not score straight up five stars.

Absolute local jewel in Moonah! Awesome coffee. Gluten free deliciousness. Casual, unassuming atmosphere and a friendly welcome. Great spot - lucky to have it just around the corner.

Baked - Gluten Free

A feeling of freedom as you enter, met with a waft of air full of the smell of fresh baked bread and and a friendly face of the staff.

Looking around you get a feeling of warmth and comfort. The decor is industrial rustic with an open kitchen so you can see exactly how your food is being prepared. Don’t let the cafe style and casual fun of the staff fool you. The food is modern and full of quality and flavor! More then worth the modest price you will pay.

While the gluten free status is a must for those that need it, it’s also a must to bring your friends with you. Your first time won’t be your last …

This place is super hit or miss. There's only one barrister that knows how to make a coffee and unfortunately she usually works at Straight Up in the city. Very dissappointing, as the coffee would be decent if the staff were better trained. However, better coffee training probably wouldn't account for much of a development, as my main grovel about this place is that the staff don't seem to have a clue as to what is going on. They stare at you with open mouths while you're browsing the baked goods and when you place your order, panic spreads across their faces. Only saving grace about Baked is their selection of gluten free baked good, which when they don't overdose on the egg, can be pretty yummy.

Had the breakfast pie and I wasn't hungry for ages. Try not to eat all your gluten free cheesey pretzel in one go, it's awesome. Coffee roasted on site then available straight away, expertly poured is the best.
