My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Claire and her team. Claire was fantastic as she had answered any questions we had throughout the wedding planning journey. She suggested lovely vendors like our celebrant & photographer. On the wedding day, Claire & Matilda helped calm my nerves & made sure I was comfortable with the decisions involved. My sons wedding was recently held here and it was perfect. Nothing was too much effort for lovely Claire including making sure there were no accessibility issues for my other son who is a wheelchair user. Would highly recommend Lordes Estate for any special function.

The venue was absolutely perfect. Gorgeous and old with pleasant scenery all around. The staff were great, accommodating and very assuring especially towards the end when the stress was high pressure. The day went perfectly.

The adults chilled - the kids ran around. Everyone had a great time.
The prices were fair.

We used the caterer and stylist recommended by the venue and they all worked together in perfect unison.

I felt like a VIP on the big day.

Personally, I faced some challenges while preparing my wedding. However, Claire took such a good care of our couple, not just physically but also emotionally. She was more than just a venue coordinator. I truely thank her for her love and care.

The Venue
Our search for the perfect rustic chapel led us to Lords Estate, where we celebrated our wedding day. All our guests were in awe and asked us how we discovered this hidden gem. The chapel is enchanting in every way, with its vintage exterior and the stunning interior features. As soon as I stepped inside, I was captivated by the beautiful chandelier and the elegant white canopy adorned with fairy lights. The light coming through the stained glass windows, reflecting off the white walls and contrasting with the dark wooden floors and door, created a magical atmosphere.

The estate offers ample parking for guests and features a large tree adorned with fairy lights, perfect for an outdoor reception. The drawing room, where my bridesmaids and I prepared, was beautifully decorated and provided a lovely space for us. There are numerous photo opportunities throughout the venue: the wooden staircase with its chandelier, the hallway with its stained glass window, the garden with its swing, lamp posts, and bird bath, as well as the charming front porch. The entire venue is not only stunning but also impeccably clean, well-maintained, and meticulously decorated.

The Service
On our first meeting, Claire welcomed us with a warm smile and hug and that already told me we were in good hands. The wedding planning which turned many into bridezillas, surprisingly I did not become one. That was because Claire took care of most of the horrors of wedding planning. Claire's calm and warm nature is a gift that spreads to people around her. Claire expertly guided us through every stage of the planning process. She was incredibly responsive and patient, answering all our questions and offering suggestions without being imposing. She recommended the best suppliers, including the celebrant, catering, venue stylist, cake and waitstaff.
Claire and Anna helped us with the order of the program, coordinating rehearsals, timing the aisle songs, musician setup and managing guest arrivals. They thought of every detail to ensure the day ran smoothly. On the day itself, Claire and her team were very attentive to all the needs of our guests. As a bride, I was treated me with the utmost attention and care on the day. During the photo sessions, Claire or Anna was always nearby ready to assist with my dress, veil, bouquet, or to call for a break when needed. I was deeply touched when the Lady of Lords Estate went above and beyond by helping me change my shoes and even massaged my feet when she noticed I was struggling with my high heels. This level of care, though not part of an event coordinator's typical duties, demonstrated Claire’s genuine concern and love.

The Budget
Claire expertly managed our wedding planning by presenting options that fit our budget, allowing us to decide just how simple or elaborate we wanted the celebration to be. Her flexibility and creativity ensured that every choice aligned with our vision. Big or small event - we are confident that Claire and her team would bring the same level of care, commitment, and professionalism.

The Fun
We shared many fun moments during the planning and on the wedding day. One of the best was during the photoshoot when my bridesmaid’s hair extension got snagged on a tree branch and was pulled off. Claire, braving the rain and mud, made a heroic leap to rescue the extension from the branch. We all laughed and it took us some time to regain our composure & continue with the wedding photoshoot.

What sets Lords Estate apart
Lords Estate venue is undeniably beautiful but what truly sets this venue apart is the genuine and heartfelt care provided by Claire, her family and the entire team. We will be forever grateful for the beautiful experience and the kind-hearted individuals we met. This place and its family will forever have a special place in our hearts. Our heartfelt gratitude for gifting us with memories that will last a lifetime. We cannot recommend this wedding venue highly enough.

We had our wedding on Friday! And we can not fathom how happy we are. From the first visit to getting married, we always felt welcomed and cared for. On our venue visit we didn’t just fall in love with the venue, we fell in love with claire too, at that moment we knew it was her and her venue which was the one for us!!

Claire was so accommodating to every thing we wanted, she was always replying to my 100 emails a week and was so caring!

The day came and we were so nervous however claire made us so comfortable that we forgot what we were so nervous for!

All her vendors she suggested were amazing! We can not fault anything! The photographer was amazing and we cant wait for photos!

My husband Jay and I spent our first wedding anniversary at the Lord's Estate house venue on their property, and it was a beautiful and intimate way to spend our anniversary with just our closest family, 10 of us in total. The venue was stunning, with the vintage house decorated well and clean, and the rooms were able to be used for the allocated time. Bonus was the little fury friends (their dog and cat that also greeted us on site) The food we had that was catered was so delicious and they even gave us the food to take home. Most of all we're so thankful to Claire and the team. Claire was amazing in hosting us, giving us space as a family on the night, while also preparing and organising everything so that it was a memorable event. We also appreciate her care and hospitality towards all the guests, and also sharing the same heart in faith. We couldn't recommend this place more. Thank you, Claire and the Lord's estate team!
