Very much a locals pub, so if you don't mind that sort of thing give it a go. Food was reasonably priced and it was ok. Not much to do there but eat you tea unless you like to play pool as I did notice that they had a pool table. There is a smoking area out the back. Not really much else I can say. ☺️

We visited Longwarry pub for my birthday dinner as we’d been many times before & the food has always been good. Last night the food was horrendous. My sister & I had the salt & pepper calamari & it was so over cooked, it was like eating rubber. Safe to say that we didn’t eat it. My husband ordered the 500g t-bone & it was the smallest piece of steak, so disappointing. Our plates were cleared while I was not at the table so I didn’t get a chance to let them know. We had a bowl of chips on the table & the blonde lady behind the bat came to the table & said ‘are you going to eat those? I’m not doing the dishes after the kitchen staff leave so I’m going to have to take them or put them in a container’. She was so rude. She’s always so rude while serving drinks. Every time we visit, but this time was too much. I get the feeling that she hates her job & doesn’t want to be there. We’ll never go again. It’s such a shame as it’s one of the only traditional pubs left.

I recently visited the longwarry hotel and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt off. The blonde woman behind the bar is always extremely rude, couldn’t put a smile on her face, clearly even if you paid her

The service was a major letdown. It took an unusually long time to take our order. Once we finally placed our meal choices, we waited an eternity for our food to arrive. When it did, it was cold and it was overcooked and lacked flavor. It felt like a rushed effort with little attention to quality. My dining companion had a similar experience with their meal, which was equally disappointing.
Whilst we were still eating we were asked if we were finished & when we said no the staff responded that she would get a takeaway container because she wanted to wash our dishes!

Additionally, the cleanliness of the pub left much to be desired.

Overall, my visit to was terrible . The combination of subpar food, lackluster service, and a less-than-inviting atmosphere makes it hard to recommend. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Top Country Pub for a short Day trip on the train. Great value meals generous portions & Friendly service can be quiet busy at lunch times. We try and visit every month.

Longwarry Hotel is a great local pub with friendly fantastic staff who make you feel very welcome.
The food here is delicious, generous portions, and great value.
We now come here often as one of our first local choices if we don't want to prepare our own meals at home.
We defo' recommend coming here. This is such a great place.
