I have been in this unit since 2012.
As a staff member we have always done our best to accommodate parents and cadets in all there needs. We have also over the years wavered the membership and exercise fees to help out parents struggling in today's life. We the staff have in the past also used our own money to buy kit for cadets that have been struggling to get what they need.and on a serious note we have bent over backwards for some parent even letting them put forms in late then not turn up or let us know they aren't coming. This includes fundraising activities. If you don't show up to an activity and don't let us know it counts as a absent.on that as well we were not informed about any medical issues inwitch is required by all staff and cadets.

What a wonderful community for my boys to learn some essential skills. Very welcoming, understanding and encouraging- for parents too. I highly recommend cadets for your kids. Totally worth the effort. ANZAC Day was one of the absolute highlights of my life 😊

I cannot recommend this unit enough. I was a member from 2014-2019(until the day before I enlisted into the army).They have taught me numerous life skills and I I wouldn’t be where I am now without the amazing staff. Just like any group/team there are commitments, however you will not just be asked to leave with no reasoning unlike other reviews have stated.

Absolutely disgusting attitude from the head of the department. Kicking a young boy out of the cadets due to being in hospital and not being we’ll effort to attend due to health reasons . Not even the army would show such disrespect to there members. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone . They have no team commitment and personality is to be ashamed . Will be taking my complaints of this unit further , and until it’s closed down or someone else is in charge for will keep submitting all complaints

Absolutely a horrible place to be .The people treat no one with respect and talk down upon you .They kicked my brother out because he has been in hospital unwell and is awaiting surgery instead of asking how he was feeling they wrote saying you have been discharge from the unit and they want the uniform back.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ITS HORRIBLE
