What a spot! I had the most amazing lunch on Sunday at Lochiel House. The atmosphere was warm and friendly - very much 'the local go to place' vibes. The staff seemed to know lots of locals and everyone had a smile on their faces. I instantly felt welcomed and at home. The garden seating was magical with the sun shining, outdoor cooking around us, fun music and chatter and the local chickens even coming to say hello! The food was wholesome and healthy. My favourite was the cider with lemon sorbet - what a great idea and so delicious!

Although this is more of a meaty restaurant, they made a vegetarian like me feel right at home!

I can't help but to keep going back!
I went to Lochiel house this time with a bunch of friends. The meat eaters loved the oxtail and I found the somasas the best i've had in memory. But I was blown away by the chutneys and sauces. Everything was very high quality with a flavour twist. See you next weekend!

We had a lovely dinner here. Food was great and affordable for the set menu. Service was fantastic. We got a welcome card for our anniversary, which is very nice touch. Definitely recommended!!

A warm, heritage setting, complete with a crackling fireside. The ricotta gnocchi with roasted pumpkin and Marsala mushroom, tasted as beautiful as it looked, even topped with edible flowers. Wine in hand, wander through the garden and explore the vegetable gardens and fruit trees, which provide fresh produce for the impressive menu. 5 stars!

Can’t fault this beautiful restaurant.
We loved everything from the decor, the gardens, the chickens, the food, the wine, the service… the list goes on!
Personal stand out was the fish, cooked to perfection and the combination of vegetables and that SAUCE!

We chose Lochiel House to celebrate a family birthday with 10 adults and 7 kids. Charlene and the team were fantastic hosts. The shared platters were generous and delicious, the service was friendly and relaxed and the setting was perfect for a long lunch! Highly recommended!

We had a special family girls’ lunch at this beautiful restaurant, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely divine, and the atmosphere was enchanting with its cozy fires. The service was exceptional, and we felt so well taken care of. The wine selection was exquisite, and the portions were incredibly generous. We left feeling completely satisfied.
