A refuge from the asphalt & car fumes: a square of landscaped garden & grass between the art gallery, library and Conservatorium, with a pleasant cafe too.

Hung out at the library mostly, but the whole cultural section (gallery, sculptures, lawn area, etc) was unexpectedly pleasant, being dead set in the middle of Lismore.
Plenty of parking.
There's a nice Whole Foods shop across from the library entrance that's worth checking out, too.

It's exactly as advertised. Great place for picnics, or to take your kids to practice soccer.

The Cafe is really nice, lots of tasty cakes.

The whole precinct surrounding the Quad is a cool place to visit. Seated in the winter sun or inside the regional gallery is a great deal of fun and a must visit place.

Great spot for kids, library, they love the art gallery. Nice to spend time there. Cafe too and am told the coffee is good.

Plenty of open green spaces, a variety of seating plus access to the always exciting Lismore Regional Art Gallery, lovely aromas of the Slate Gallery Cafe, the opportunity to borrow books from Lismore branch of the Richmond Tweed Regional Library then across the road and lose track of time in the quirky and eclectic shops of downtown Lismore..
