Wow! I never knew a place could be so poor and disgusting. I booked an overnight in a single room (and I use the term "room" in its loosest connotation ). It's little more than a single bed squeezed into an area about the size of a very small bathroom. Having said that, if all you want is a place to put your head down for a few hours I guess it would do. That is, of course, if you can put up with the fact your eyes constantly stream due to the extensive smell of piss because someone used the room as a toilet rather than use the bathroom (which is bigger than the room, I might add). The bed..... well, it's basically a single mattress thrown over a few holes where the base should be. Did I mention the smell of piss? In all honesty, it's a budget room but, even so, it would have been nice not to have had to go to the laundrette the following day to wash absolutely everything I took with me to try to get rid of the smell. I'm sure people walking past me think I'm homeless, judging by the screwed up noses and sneering looks. On a plus, the garage next door does some absolutely yummy Butter Chicken pies........|Well, save yourself some money and pay more to get a decent place to stay (pay more - equals save money washing all your clothes to stop smelling like a hobo). Wish I had read the reviews first....... lesson learnt.

Don't bother with this place. You will stand there waiting to be served, even when there is absolutely NO ONE else in the bar/ restaurant area, but you will be completely ignored. You'll walk around looking for someone to help you, all to no avail. When a staff member does eventually walk onto the floor, they'll tell you they're on a break, and that someone else will come and serve you... when a different staff member comes out, and you ask if someone could serve you, you'll be told "we're busy", and then that person walks away... All we wanted to do was order a meal, have a few drinks, you know - the usual things you might do when you're at a pub....SPEND MONEY!!! The Links Hotel couldn't care less about its customers, please don't bother with this place. Oh, and the food isn't that great anyway. Don't waste your time, or your money! Very interesting reading through the many reviews of the Links Hotel, the common theme of many of the reviews is that the service is TERRIBLE. I can confirm this to be very true - that is, if you can actually FIND a staff member willing to serve you. I live in the area, so this hotel could be described as my 'local'. I won't be back. I strongly suggest to all who read this review to STAY AWAY.

We came in late and were directed to bar staff to assist. The awesome young lady from NZ was so patient, so great at her job…amazing customer service. The room was beautiful and clean, and oh my goodness how comfortable are the mattresses. No complaints of aches and pains from my heavily pregnant daughter, best nights sleep all pregnancy 😊 To top it all off a discount on the very delicious meals and two complimentary drinks ❤️ when returning the keys in the morning I met the manager of the accommodation who also had amazing customer service. Great experience!

I booked a room for my parner on Monday, got a family studio for him. He said the room was nice, big & clean, with a back door & window, so that he could see his car. The food was good, got room service & you'll get a discount if you stay there. The only negative thing was, my partner walked in on Sunday & tried to book a room, but the receptionist wouldn't accept his debit card or cash, said credit card only, told him there's another hotel 5 minutes away, so he went & stayed in other hotel. The reason for this trip was to catch up with friend & his friend stayed there & would be easierto catch up. He then went back again the next day, another receptionist accepted his debit card with no problem.

Links Hotel is a local pub to me and provides friendly and hospitable service. I have been there few times therefore the service and staff have been consistent to date. Their meals are very good and is complimented by a well assorted salad bar. Staff also check up to make sure everything is ok. Keep up the good work and thank you.

A warning for anybody anticipating in going for lunch at the Links hotel, DONT please DONT.
Myself and a few good friends go out for lunch on regular occasions and always try out different pubs in the western suburbs.
So dissapointing today i paid $28 dollars for 6 slices of tough lamb roast and gravy and 4 tiny roast spuds, the rest was up to me to get from the very average baine marie, then my friends wanted to doggy bag some food well i can say that it is the first hotel to deny that oppurtunity, no wonder the place was as good as empty.
They say you can always tell a good restaurant by the amount of people inside of it. BTW the baked potatoe was the worst to, never again guys.

I have been here on quite a few occasions, and it never ceases to amaze me how great the quality, price, and service are from the restaurant. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful from the check in, to the meals at the restaurant. Lia served us for dinner and was very polite and friendly. The meals here are always excellent. I have stayed in the rooms and found them suitable for my needs and love the big bed mattress. Parking is great. Close and easy to get to both RAH and QE hospitals.

My daughter asked to come here for the indoor playground, we accidentally drove to the Seaton instead and my GOD do I wish we had just stayed there for dinner..

5:30 and we are 1 of 2 tables there, we order and within less then 5 minutes the two kids meals come out, we were already a bit concerned how they cooked hot food that quickly but figured can’t mess up chicken nuggets (I was wrong) - the kids meals are just slapped onto cardboard trays with a few extras,

A few minutes later mine & my husbands meals come out - for reference I had karaage chicken and he had a beef burger.

I get 5-6 pieces of my chicken in before I notice it was COMPLETELY pink inside, my husband then nudges me to show his burger was RAW.

He takes our daughter & I flag down the young guy who seemed to be the only server, from the get go no smile & 0 interest, however he comes over and I tell him my chicken is pink & the burger is raw, he takes my food only into the kitchen and comes out 2 minutes later and just goes ‘yeah it’s undercooked’ - no sorry and literally 0 care in his voice, I proceeded to tell him how sick I could get from that to which he replies ‘so do you want something else?’… after receiving 2 raw meals and no apology why would I want something else? No offer to get a manager, absolutely not apologetic and literally the worst service. I immediately got up, grabbed my husband and we left. I stopped the girl at reception & told her, she was about the only decent person employed there & refunded us as well as took my number down and apologised, however unfortunately refunded meals does not make up for this.

My eldest daughter spent the night throwing up chicken nuggets which clearly were also not cooked properly or cooked in an unclean environment - how does one mess up frozen nuggets? My husband has spent the day bed ridden and myself 2 days bed ridden.

2 tables was all there was & you still could not cook the food properly, even if you were flat out busy there is absolutely NO excuse to serve raw meat & chicken and make a household full of people sick including children & risk their health this way!

The fact your wait staff seem to be a constant topic of complaint and clearly nothing is getting done, as someone who has worked in hospitality as well as managed it the absolute disgusting service was just a cherry on top to not even apologise or care when a customer is now at risk of salmonella.

Shame on you all, I will absolutely never step foot near this place again.
