Spiritual here is just the walk back to the car.

As we arrived, the light in the container was left on so we could easily find it—a kind gesture. However, this ended up attracting a lot of mosquitoes, which filled the container because of damaged fly screens.

The second room seemed better at first, but as we brought in our luggage, we saw a cockroach. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the only one; when we opened the bathroom door, we found at least five more. Additionally, there were clear signs of cockroach droppings on the bed in the second room. Because of this, we decided to spend the night in our car.

After we kindly informed the host about the situation, she tried to blame the issues on our late check-in and complained about having to clean both rooms. Sadly, there was no understanding from her side.

We understand that the property is described as rustic, and we’re used to different types of accommodations after three months of traveling. However, there’s a difference between rustic and unclean.

Wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer. Clean and comfy cabins. Well equiped “camp kitchen”.
Super hospitable owners, late night booking but took no issues welcoming us in.

Great little spot, not far from the Bruce Highway that represents incredible value.

I stayed in the single tent on a cold night with heavy rain and wind. No leaks and I was warm and comfortable in the bed. The tent contained a kettle and bar fridge, which was handy.

The camp kitchen had everything you'd need to cook and the shared bathroom/laundry was clean and functional.

The owner was absolutely lovely.

If you're after a cheap, quiet, comfortable place to stay and you're not expecting some sort of 5 star resort, this is the place to go. I would definitely return.

Far from a "spiritual retreat"...however picturesque location. is basically a few glamping tents, with a few donga style cabins built on someone's property. rented at top price and governed by controlling minions starving for power and desperate to assert their dominance... facilities are frightening... nothing is clean...was scared using anything in kitchen for fear of injesting some kind of bacterial infection... pet friendly, well, as long as its in a box or tied to a tree outside ur site and the apparent builder on site, merely connecting extra Dongas together for future scams, sorry, patrons.. well he has preference over any paying customers and must bring his barking aggressive dog to work as its attendance is more compulsory than the pleasant and undisturbed stay of paying guests....

Getting away from it all to this beautiful place was just what we needed to reset. Sheree is a helpful considerate host. The facilities are clean and tidy. Loved this place and plan to bring friends next time

I had a most enjoyable stay camping out in a bush environment, with people from all countries and places and walks of life. Sheree and Carlos the hosts were most hospitable. Facilities for cooking, washing are available.

Arrived in pouring rain, were given a room with under roof parking and common room all to ourselves. All very comfortable, slept well, great cooking facility, TV with comfortable chairs. Shower room and toilet clean, really enjoyed our stay. Loved the birds in the morning, proprietor just lovely and inviting. Beautiful place. She even has a bar installed in the main house. Loved it, definitely a place to come back to.

Nice and cosy. I arrived late. Didn't have any toilet papers and couldn't get the wifi password. Could have called them for assistance, but it was late and didn't want to bother anyone as I was there only for a night. Wasn't necessary.
