The tidy and comfort cafe in waterfront Darwin.
You can refresh your energy after you stay outside in the warm weather. You will smile with a nice waitress who welcome you behind the bar. We order the seafood bucket. It was served crispy fried seafood; fish, scallop, squid, shrimp. Of course it come with yummy source. Recommend!

I recently visited Lime Café on the Esplanade in the Darwin waterfront Precinct for a quick breakfast and coffee. The location is quite relaxing, with a lovely view of the grass and water, making for a pleasant atmosphere.

While the café has received some negative reviews in the past, I was pleased to find that my experience was quite positive. The service was good, and the quality of my meal was satisfying. My only suggestion would be that the presentation of my dish could have been elevated with a bit more attention to detail. However, the flavors were exceptional, and I would definitely order it again. The coffee was enjoyable, and the smoothie I had was refreshing.

Overall, I would happily return for both the meal and the calming vibe of the café.

My recent visit to Lime Cafe was unfortunately quite disappointing. While I was hoping for a tranquil, tropical escape in what seemed like a lovely area, the reality was far from it.
The atmosphere was surprisingly loud, completely clashing with the peaceful vibe I was anticipating. It certainly didn't evoke any sense of a tropical paradise.
As for the food, it was both subpar in quality and significantly overpriced. To add to the frustration, the service was disjointed. Despite ordering our meals simultaneously, the plates arrived separately, with a considerable delay between each. By the time one person had finished their meal, the last dish still hadn't even made it to the table.
Overall, Lime Cafe missed the mark on several fronts. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for good value, efficient service, or a genuinely tranquil dining experience.

Nice spot but coffee, food and service average.
4 meals were served over a 30 minute period with the first people finishing and being cleared before the last ones even got their meals. The communication from staff was non existent. The poached eggs were hard and the portion sizes were wildly different.
The coffees were all the same regardless of what you ordered.

I was so excited to see a couple of vegan options on the breakfast menu! I had the plant-based breakfast. The portions where embarrassingly stingy, definitely not worth the $30! Very disappointing.

Went to Lime Cafe for breakfast over Easter weekend. The portion size was terrible, toast was rock hard, price was ridiculously high for the quality and size of it. Won’t be returning.

Waffles are gas station freezers level bad and like $25 for the pleasure. Sat as a group. Literally, everyone's order was incredibly mediocre. One of us ordered French toast. The server came out and argued with us because they charged for another waffles and refused to change the order. Forced my friend to accept the waffles. Just sad and confrontational. Expensive, rude staff, reheated frozen mediocre and tepid.
