It feels like a prison. No common areas and the terrace looks terribly abandoned. Moreover, the staff broke my suitcase in the last day. Not on purpose, but they didn't even applogize.

The hostel itself is not bad but come on! It’s obvious there are better ones. I wanted to extend another week just because was cheap and they didn’t even help me ? The bathrooms are clean and work well but it’s clear that it doesn’t look like the pictures… The rooms are tooooo small and they had a terrible moldy smell and i was forgetting, there are some hellish stairs

Great hostel! Very clean, saw staff cleaning throughout the whole day. The checkin procedure was easy. I had not received a message with the correct confirmation number so I called them and it was sorted immediately.

Stayed here for a bit but the place is too packed, not enough space, the kitchen is so uncomfortable and all they are after is money, not one interest in the comfort of people staying there. I also saw that they are making rooms out of the storage rooms, crazy small and are basically outside. They are renovating another house across the street, and even though there is no kitchen or hot water, they let people stay there and pay for that. Only good because of the location, if you are planning to stay for longer just get a room somewhere else.

Our initial impression of Venus Potts Point was positive, but our experience quickly soured. The lack of space, absence of closets, limited fridge space, and cramped cooking area made our stay uncomfortable. Additionally, we encountered recurring payment issues, being charged double, and faced difficulties in getting our bond refunded. Overall, it was a disappointing and frustrating experience. Improvement is needed in these areas to ensure a better stay for future guests.
