Absolutely blown away by this hidden gem of a café! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff greeted me with genuine smiles and an energy that made me feel instantly at home. It’s rare to find a place that nails both food and service, but this café delivers on every level.

Let’s start with the egg and bacon roll—hands down, the best I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten my fair share of breakfast rolls, but nothing has ever come close to this one. The bacon was crispy yet tender, the egg perfectly cooked with a rich yolk that melted into the fluffy bun, and it was all brought together with a sauce that added just the right amount of zing without overpowering the classic flavours. Every bite was pure joy. It’s the kind of roll that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate how good it is.

And the coffee? Simply delicious. Smooth, full-bodied, and expertly brewed. You can tell they take pride in their beans and how they prepare them. Whether you’re after a flat white, a long black, or something a little fancy, they’ve got you covered. I’m picky about my coffee and this place absolutely nailed it.

I absolutely love Justin and the team! Their service is exceptional, and the food is outstanding—especially the fresh muffins and baked goods. They’re always so friendly and welcoming, making every visit a delight.

I actually really think these guys in general have had a positive vibe and great customer service.

Some of their meals are most excellent, though the menu has shifted over time. For a short time they did amazing fizzy drinks using exotic ingredients and some excellent lunch foods like their Reuben sandwich. That said, several times I’ve gone to visit, they are closed because their hours are quite limited, I often only get a break at 2:30 by which time these guys are shut always. Today, after not being there for some time (I’ve been overseas) I tried to talk with the owner to see how things had been going for him (my partner and I have been a semi frequent customer since they very first opened) and my partner and I over time each frequented the business to show our support. Today I feel like the reception was cold, I tried to show a coupon that was emailed to me regarding my points and balance which was saying I had enough to redeem 1 coffee. I provided my name, email, phone no, etc… I was going to order lunch for both my partner and I as takeaway. What turned me around was the somewhat rude response as I was told something about “an old system” which invalidated my email, fair enough I guess - tell me about the new system perhaps? I guess all I’m saying is, if it were my customer, I just would have still honoured a small coffee and been friendlier.

I really hope this doesn’t come off as arrogant, I just feel I now don’t feel a need to return to the business, though I wish you well and I hope you find success. You have many good reviews and your food has been good quality mostly.

We absolutely love this place! Justin and his team are so warm and friendly (as said by our 9 year old). We came in the first day and have never looked back (as said by our 7 year old). And the 4 year old says “I love your cafe and I really hope I come to here for Christmas”. Best coffee and best service. The halloumi pita pockets are a family favourite ❤️
