Great location, well priced. Close to some of the major attractions. Very handy having a kfc, McDonald's and chemist very close. Room was clean, spacious and I loved how much storage space the room had. Parking was free and close. Only complaint is the room could've used a small couch, but that's just a minor detail. Would definitely return.

Staying at the lodge for 2 nights in September 2024. When we returned for the second night we noticed that there were no clean towels nor was the rubbish bin emptied. I contacted reception and they told me that it was their policy that fresh towels and rubbish bins would only be supplied when we would stay for 3 nights or more. I've been looking into this and found that they would be required to do the above on a daily basis regardless how many nights the guests stay. This is very unhealthy. I would never stay at this lodge again.

This place was disappointing. The room was spacious, but that's where the good ends. We got in late and found the room hard to find. It was a cold night, and the split system wasn't working. There was a heater in the room, which indicated that they knew the air conditioner wasn't working. The heater was useless. It was also noisy. We called the number we were given if there were any issues, and they sent security out to give us another heater, which also didn't work. |One of the sinks was blocked. |There was stains on the bedding, dirty marks on the walls and the shower recess was disgraceful. When my husband addressed this on checkout, they didn't seem to care at all.

My 12 year old daughter recently stayed at Leumeah Lodge in Canberra with her school, and her experience was extremely disappointing. Despite the cold weather, she was not provided with a duvet as the lodge had run out, and instead, she was given a single small blanket. To make matters worse, the heating in her room didn’t work, leaving her to spend two freezing nights in discomfort. It’s very concerning that a facility catering to children cannot ensure they are kept warm.

Was very happy with the size of the room but that's about it.
It was difficult to find the room as it was hidden at the back. This was frustrating as we arrived late as we advised them we would be and had tired children with us. The split system didn't work, they knew this as there was a useless heater in the room. The after hours security people came out to give us another heater and that also didn't work. Given it is winter, we weren't happy. Dragged out all of the extra blankets we could find. There was stains on the bed, dirty marks on the walls. Some gross thing on the toilet wall. One of the sinks was blocked. And the shower recess was disgusting. We got a lame sorry when my husband addressed the issues in the morning with them. Hopefully they address the issues as this place could be good if it was looked after. They need new cleaners for starters.

Bit out of town but super clean and very large. The staff were really flexible and gave us extra time to sleep in! Bless! Good value too!!

Laid over for a night as we were heading to Sydney from Melbourne.
Reception has fixed hours. Past their hours, you’ll have to call their after hours hotline.
We checked in after hours by calling their hotline and got their key from safety deposit box.
Room, bed and toilet is neat, tidy and clean.
But the kettle was dirty and there were only three hangers even though there were two closets.
Beds are comfortable though pillows are too soft.
But it’s great for a lay over as we paid only around AUD140 for 4 pax and there are loads of fast food supper options around.

This is the best lodge I've stayed in recently! The rooms are brand new, and the bathroom facilities are top-notch – spotlessly clean. Plus, there's plenty of space, and the two queen-size beds are super comfortable. We drove from South Australia, and the staff were incredibly supportive, offering smooth check-in even outside regular hours. Much appreciated!

☹️The only downside was not realizing when booking that there were lots of kids around. Their excited voices and the noise of buses waking me up 6am in the morning wasn't the most pleasant experience after a long 13-hour drive yesterday.
