Great campground. Clean amenities. Had dinner at the pub. Friendly service and the meals were just honest pub fare. Reasonably priced, too. Definitely on our list as a stopping point next time we're up this way.

There is no choice in Leigh Creek, so I should not complain, but a "resort" has a sound of class about it!!! This is the old Leigh Creek mining town pub/camp/accommodation, and it served the purpose but underwhelmed us. The rooms are OK, but not classy. We visited twice, and the meals were better the second time, and pretty good. At least the second time our rooms were close together!! If you are travelling to Marree, and need a break before visiting Farina, stop at Leigh Creek. Maybe in time they will be able to improve, and prove me wrong.|I'm not condemning it, as you can see by my rating, but it needs a lift.

Good food in the restaurant, stopped for lunch but didn’t stay at the resort. The lady that took our orders and served us even stayed late past an arvo closing while we changed a flat tire, so nice of her!

Stayed in Leigh Creek Caravan Park for 1 night.
Had a meal and drinkie at the Outback Resort restaurant.
Highly recommended you give it a go.

Overnight stay enroute to Adelaide.
Staff friendly, room fairly basic but served it’s purpose.
Great shower.
Internet access was available but no matter how many times we tried unable to make it work.
Very quiet location and close to the tavern.

We arrive in the dark. The restaurant was busy, Steak Night and football. Great meal!! Ryan the Chef was awesome, and Tom the hotel host and bartender...help us get settled with heat in our cabin stay. Very comfortable nights sleep. Back for breakfast in the morning!!!

On our family trip we came into a bit of difficulty and that’s where we felt like locals in a town that we’ve never been too before. The local service station gave us advice, the tavern looked after our family and gave us the best advice for the nearest vehicle recovery business (Cookes Outback Motors) who were absolutely supurb. ||So if you ever visit this rugged part of Australia. Be sure to use these fantastic small outback businesses and support them along your journey. We feel blessed to have had the problems we had in such a friendly town.
