If you like op shopping then this is the place to visit. All items are donated and cost nothing. Yes free. Set up like an op-shop, friendly staff, activities for seniors, and those who will be seniors at some stage. Free bread, and other food items that are kindly donated. One rule only. Be considerate . Dont go over board when grabbing freebies

This is a great place for support in Leichhardt. They offer pantry services to eligible people through an appointment process, however they are best known for their walk in services. These include access to twice daily delivered free bread (mountains of it to choose from), vegetables and other various grocery items, plus a range of FREE clothes, bric a brack and books.
This place is one of my favourite haunts in my neighbourhood. I can't remember the last time I bought bread!!
Great staff who are always available to help.

I think it's abit slack that they only have ONE person in charge of the Emergency relief section and don't have someone that can take over when one is sick! We enquired about some help with food this week and because this one person is away sick they are not able to help anyone out with food etc for this entire week! Quite annoying in my opinion!

The local plant swap meets at the community garden are always great value, as are the workshops run by volunteers. Always wish to have more time to attend more often.

I moved to Ipswich recently. I needed to find a place where I could meet some like minded ladies to get to know.
I have found a lovely craft group where I feel very comfortable.

A great place for people to meet. Next to a Mens Shed and has a book library outside - free books for locals to take and swap which is great. They also provide free bread and some food when it's available to them. Great service.
