We loved it! Wonderful food & great atmosphere. Service was fair but the one criticism was the wine list. It's really average, limited and expensive for poor wine. Definitely needs work. Wine is BYO but only one bottle per booking. Overall a lovely dinner & we will return!

From the moment I stepped into Le Rooftop, the elegant and classic atmosphere made me feel like a special guest. The Beef Tartar with Avocado was incredibly moving—it was the first time I’d tasted proper Korean-style beef tartar since coming to Australia. My daughter absolutely fell in love with the Sweet and Sour Pork. I know it might be a bit impolite, but I couldn’t help sneaking a glance at the Mongolian Beef being served at the next table—if I hadn’t been so full, I definitely would have tried it.

The two kinds of tiramisu we had for dessert were also a perfect finish to the meal. I’m already looking forward to going back to try the Beef Tartar again along with some new dishes. It also seems like the perfect place to host a party with friends.

Still some things to work out such as the impossibly small typeface size on the wine menu! An extensive alcohol menu but the staff were not yet up to speed with wine styles, pairings and serving. The food menu was confusing, it was unclear what were entrees and what were main courses. Not an inspiring selection to choose from. We had a fish dish and the Mongolian Beef. Both were very bland, lacking depth of flavour and spice.
I hope they find their way.

I really really wanted Le Rooftop to be good, but it just wasn’t. The $15 Xiao Long Bao were literally the $8.99 soup dumplings from Aldi. Mongolian lamb and the fried rice were really not good. That said, the kingfish ceviche and the cucumber salad were really nice - just expensive for what they are/sizing. Prawn toast was good but very oily. I am hopeful that Le Rooftop will get better after a few weeks / months of service. Should say that we finished everything, so it wasn’t inedible, it just was a disappointing meal.

This new restaurant has such a good vibe, and the food is absolutely delicious. We ordered the wagyu bibimbap, lemon pepper calamari, kimchi pancake, prawn doughnuts, Peking duck spring rolls, and the chef’s special sashimi. Everything was amazing. The staff were super friendly too. The highlights for me were definitely the wagyu bibimbap, kimchi pancake, and the xiao long bao. The sashimi was also incredibly fresh and beautifully balanced.
