Lawson Chinese Restaurant in the Blue Mountains is a real find. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly service and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a fantastic range of traditional Chinese dishes, all made with fresh ingredients and full of flavor.

I highly recommend the Mongolian lamb—it’s perfectly done. The fried ice cream is also a winner, with just the right mix of sweetness. Every dish I've tried here has been spot-on, showing a genuine dedication to quality.

Great restaurant - we craved Chinese food one night and found this place. The best dish in our opinion would be salt and pepper squid. Friend rice, bok choi and prawn toast were also amazing. Service was great and food came out fast.

I came here the other night with my friends and it was the best Chinese food I've ever had, it was full of flavour and the presentation was immaculate. Along side that the servers where friendly and where nice and chatty with us making us feel very welcomed. The food here is a good price and they have an option where you can call up and get food to pick up and eat at home which is really useful on days they're busy or you wanna enjoy a nice meal in your home. In all id highly recommend this to anyone trying to find a nice local place to eat.

Dined here on a Saturday evening for dinner. If you come on the 3rd Saturday of the month you can hear the karaoke at the bar. Everyone one at the table was full and we even had leftovers & it cost less than $40 per person.

We ordered prawn toast and the crab & prawn egg roll to start. Great light and classic flavours with good old red dipping sauce.

We then had the Mongolian beef, Garlic Prawns, Satay chicken, Honey chicken, combination egg omlette and Fried rice. The Mongolian beef and Honey chicken were absolute must haves. Next time i want to try the sweet and sour pork. We ate the banana fritter split and deep fried ice cream for dessert.

Overall the atmosphere is in a classic time capsule no frills lawn bowls club in the mountains. Loved it

what was wonderful years ago is now literally turning away customers!!! Got there at 1.45 pm hoping for a meal and was turned away because the kitchen was closing at 2 pm. The restaurant was full of diners and to close at 2 pm on a Sunday is ridiculous!!! Happy to take the business elsewhere!!! We certainly wont be back for mediocre chinese food anyway now that Dimsimlim has sold the restaurant!!! …….. this review below i gave was done 3 yrs ago! -> place is a pleasant find in the local bowlo, happy to have a Malaysian restaurant nearby, very decent chow fan (fried rice) and sizzling fish with ginger n garlic was ok!

Home of the Wok God! Yep bought most items he has put on his YouTube shorts, and I must say, it's "just like take out" ?. Super enjoyed my lunch and tried the others as well, so we ordered from the lunch menu which comes with rice, Mongolian Beef, SweetnSour Pork and Satay Chicken, entree was fried Dim Sim and Spring Rolls. Very tasty dishes, enjoyed it with the family, a must try just off the main highway so definitely get down there.

Wow, the lunch specials were great. Great choice, value for money and very tasty. Located in Lawson bowling club. Ground level with easy access. Has side entrance to the Chinese restaurant or go through the club. Popular with locals. Very friendly staff.

We have attended Lawson chinese on two different occasions and it has been a nice little find in the mountains. Across both occasions, we chose the satay chicken, sizzling mongolian beef, garlic prawns, singapore fried noodles, spring rolls and steamed dim sim. We really liked the flavours of the satay chicken and mongolian beef. With the other meals being ok. All dishes were generous serving sizes and come out relatively quickly after being ordered. The prices were also cheap for what they offered. Being located within the bowling club meant that there was easy access and the drinks were cheap. The staff were very polite. Would recommend for an asian meal if travelling through the mountains.
