Had multiple laser hair removal done here. First ever laser experience was completed at Kawana store. The first laser seemed pretty effective straight away. And the professional was great with everything. After that experience the other treatments were not very effective at all. Not even 1 week of having treatment and hair would start growing back stubbley. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and informed my next professional at the following appointment. They re-directed this growth with needing more appointments. I had already had 5 appointments with 4 weeks in between. And after that appointment the growth rate/quality was the same with no improvements.
That was my last appointment there, as I started going to a different store.
I noticed a much better difference/improvement with changing to a different store. And I also gave the next appointment quite a large gap in between as well.
The Kawana store didn't even take details/notes down on their system as to the settings on the laser they used for me or anything at all about my appointments I had with them. So unfortunately for me, no future staff could know what was working or not working for me. This cost me more money in the end. And that definitely doesn't want me to go spending any more money in that store.

After having a consultation I was given the advice that a particular service would suit the “issues” on my skin. I asked if they had any time and they were able to book me in for an hours times. Appreciated that a lot!

When I came back I saw the “senior” skin consultant, she disagreed with everything that previous consultant said, she kept explaining things that made no sense to me, I expressed that there was conflicting statements made about what would hurt or help my skin.

As this is the first time I’ve walked into a skin care facility I obviously didn’t want to go ahead with the procedure if it was going to have a bad reaction, so I asked if I could have a refund as I thought this would be acceptable considering the misinformation provided. This was declined first of all but a call to the manger was made, again appreciated the help.
For the second time the refund was declined and an offer of other products was given, once again appreciated the offer.
What I didn’t appreciate was the senior staff member then raising her voice at me when I just asked why a refund couldn’t be given as it was the staff member who gave me the wrong information. I asked her not to raise her voice as I wasn’t fighting the decision I was just asking a question, she got so close to my personal space that I stepped back into the table, again asked her not to raise her voice at me, after which she said “I just got her in trouble for you” I’m not raising my voice at you, do you want the product, in somewhat still an aggressive way.
At no point in time did I request the first consultant to get in trouble, nor would I ever want her too, if your staff make a mistake it’s ok it’s apart of learning and being a human but at no point should you raise your voice at the person who has been inconvenienced.

This was a horrible first experience in dealing with my skin, this was meant to be a lovely experience as all this is for my wedding. I will not be going back.

Magical service, wonderful professionals who know what to do. They will always help and tell you which procedures are suitable for your face. Today I had a Yellow LED Light Therapy.

I have had BBL and other treatments with Grace at Kawana Laser Clinic. Grace gives great advice and has in depth knowledge of all the treatments. The results have been amazing, and I no longer wear foundation and have had comments on my skin. Love this clinic!

If I could leave less than 1 star I would.

Had 6-8 laser sessions roughly 6-8 years ago at a different clinic at Northlakes, with fantastic results lasting years without any hair growth.

Fast forward to last year, I had about 20% hair growth when I started going to Kawana, I explained my situation at every appointment (topping up after years of success). I had a total of 8 sessions at Kawana and have had absolutely zero results. I rebooked every next appointment while I was there in clinic because I knew there were specific time frames for hair growth, timed my sun exposure all year etc.

I am now 2 months since my last appointment and my hair has fully grown back to the 20% growth I had before I ever went to Kawana except now my left armpit has less than my right. Keep in mind this is 8 treatments over an entire year, hundreds of dollars, and at another clinic I had perfect results in the past, perfect candidate (dark hair, Caucasian skin).

Made a complaint to give them the opportunity to remedy the issue (like literally said I’d accept credit of less than half of the treatments I’d had done to give them a chance to fix it) and got a convoluted response with 101 excuses for why it didn’t work for me biologically, how my appointments were too far apart even though I booked them in-clinic, and how after the initial 8-12 appointments you’re supposed to keep going every 3 months FOREVER which was never explained to me in my treatments with this clinic, or any clinic I’d ever been to prior and was not my experience in the past (and I only had ~20% hair growth when I even started this venture make it make sense how I’d need the same amount as someone who had 100% hair growth)

Separately, one day I showed up for my appointment and it was the last appointment of the day, the tech said I was too tan and had to come back the next day on another machine that’s in a different room, no problem, come back the next day and it’s the exact same room, but a different tech who says she doesn’t know why they would say that, goes ahead with the same treatment I’d been denied the day before.

Pls research other brands.

This is Katarina’s daughter, Zoe. I had an amazing experience at Laser Clinics with Lilly throughout my six sessions of a cosmetic peel. I started off with pretty bad acne scars but across the months the peel definitely created an improvement on my skin. Lilly did a great job and is very lovely. She created a comfortable environment and I always made sure to rebook with her. I definitely recommend the peel and Lilly as she provided amazing service and unforgettable conversations!

I had a really bad experience during my laser treatment for the first time. This was my 7th laser session, and I had never felt much pain during previous treatments. However, this time, I almost screamed and ended up crying.
Alielerra was the one performing the treatment. I stretched out both my arms, but she didn’t inform me before starting and just began the laser treatment abruptly. I found it rude, and even though I told her it was painful, the treatment remained excruciating. The cooling system (?) for the laser was too weak, even after I mentioned I felt a lot of pain.

I have two sessions left, but I won’t be going back to the laser clinic after completing them.
