I have been going to this clinic for over 2 years, and the ladies that work there have always been so lovely and happy to help. Unfortunately, my entire experience with this clinic had changed over the past few days thanks to an extremely rude and disrespectful gentleman I spoke to over the phone.
My appointment was on Sunday for which I received a confirmation call on Wednesday asking me to confirm the appointment, which I did. Thursday, I had a missed call which I was unable to take as I work face-to face with customers all day, and got a message telling me my appointment has been cancelled.
I called up about an hour after the missed phone call just to ask why my appointment has been cancelled, and proceeded to be gaslit and told that it was my fault as they had tried multiple times to confirm my appointment. When I told him that I had actually confirmed my appointment with the evidence right in front of me – he told me it was again my fault as they tried to contact me and they have other people waiting.
At this point, I went fine and asked to be rebooked in as this is me confirming my appointment. Was told no, your appointment has been taken and all we have is an appointment on Saturday. As I needed my laser done, I agreed and booked in Thursday afternoon to come in Saturday Morning.
That evening, I had a severe allergic reaction and broke out in hives, so first thing in the morning I called them and said I actually don’t think I will be able to complete the appointment due to a severe allergic reaction. Unfortunately, I received the same extremely rude and disrespectful gentleman that had said that since I didn’t give them 48 hours’ notice I would have to pay THE ENTIRE FEE. Mate, I didn’t even have this appointment booked in 48 hours from the appointment, as you forced me to change it.
I said fine, I guess I will come in and they may be able to work around the hives, to which he replied that I am not allowed to recieve my treatment if I have hives and will have to cancel. BUT I WILL STILL HAVE TO PAY THE ENTIRE APPOINTMENT FEE.
So, I was told by Laser Clinics that I was not allowed to proceed with my treatment but either way they get paid and I am out of pocket.
The entire experience was topped off by this gentleman continuously telling me that it was my fault and that I should have been on top of things as it’s not their responsibility.
Overall, I am very sad that I have to give this business a one-star review as the ladies over the past 2+ years have been wonderful, but I have never been treated more disrespectfully in my life that this gentleman over the past few days.
