We stayed here last week, absolutely loved the room, nice size and very clean, we had room lucky 7 didn’t hear any traffic noise, had a great nights sleep, bed was comfortable and warm, everyone that works there said hello and were welcoming, Diane in reception was awesome, well informed with local knowledge, we will be back next trip to lantern Mackay. Thank you

The staff were very pleasant and helpful, walking distance to IGA 24hr. for supplies and close to takeaways. Our unit was clean and comfortable with crockery to enjoy your takeaways off and comfortable beds. I would recommend it, we had 3 adults, 2 kids, 6 and 14

Cockroaches everywhere in rooms, showers didn’t work, fridge makes a loud noise. Lovely staff but place needs a bit of a touch up

We had stayed at this motel previously and chose to stay again. On each occasion we have found management friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and spacious with comfortable beds, good quality linen and towels. The showers are spacious, hot and high pressure. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay.
We had a mishap with our travels and needed accommodation for my family ASAP. We had rung everywhere and were greeted with rude and unhelpful people. Until we rung the Lantern Motel. The customer service was over 5stars and they were more than happy to help with any request we had.
Once we arrived our room was spacious and very clean.
We highly recommend this motel.
Thank you to the wonderful staff, we appreciate you!!

One of the best accommodation we've had during our road trip. Rooms were very clean, quite spacious, a large bathroom sink table area. Loved the tiles and wooden look of the cupboards. Parking was available. Had a good sleep here. Price was reasonable. We will return, and can highly recommend to anyone passing or staying in Mackay.

Very welcoming arrival. Lovely staff all round. Very Clean. Comfortable beds. Undercover parking on grounds. Close to IGA (tip buy milk at the servo across the road - much cheaper). Good price. Some noise from road traffic.
