Absolutely wonderful house and hostess! Shared bathroom, kitchen and lounge room. Didn't have any problems with this at all, it is a beautiful big house, each room given its own key to come and go as you please. The kitchen was stocked and the fridge had bacon, eggs, bread and milk plus an assortment of condiments. The rooms are large and comfortable, with TV. I would highly recommend this little oasis in Coonabarabran as a great place to stay.

This was my second brief stay, two years later. Still a lovely, quiet, clean, extremely well appointed and comfortable place to stay. Despite sharing common spaces like bathroom, kitchen, dining and lounge, it is an impeccably clean and well organised place. A breath of fresh air! I also found this new brand of drink at the IGA down the today, it was lovely! Thank you for your friendly welcome and superb hospitality.

This little gem used to be the Maternity Hospital where our lovely host Grace was born! Grace is warm & welcoming & keeps the house in immaculate cleanliness & order. Our room was spacious & quiet. The fresh eggs each morning from Grace's chooks were yummy! We were able to stroll down the street to the pub each night for dinner. This was perfect for us to explore the Warrumbungles as well as the Pilliga. Wonderful stay!

Pristine and charming accommodation with blissfully comfy bed.
A short walk to local pub, the cottage is in lovely surroundings, with safe parking at the rear.
I would definitely choose to stay here again.

We had a very comfortable night at Langley Cottage, with our hostess Grace making us feel immediately at home. The 'cottage' is actually quite spacious and has some charm as well as history as a one-time maternity hospital. In fact Grace was born in the building. Our room was large yet cosy with the bed comfortable. Share bathroom was just fine - no other guests were staying when we visited so no possibility of a queue. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable tariff and was excellent, including fresh eggs from the chooks in the henhouse in the backyard. If I return to Coona (and I hope I do) would definitely stay at Langley Cottage again.

If you’re every deciding where to live in this town I highly recommend this place. I have travelled through most of eastern Australia and this is by far the most worth it BnB I’ve stayed at. Super clean, amazing facilities, comfortable bed, and a bunch of available food for the breakfast - and if you’re lucky you get to meet some other interesting people.

Grace was a wonderful,warm host at Langley Cottage. Everything was clean and very comfortable at this former maternity hospital, that looks like a normal house in the streets of Coonabarabran.

The beds were extremely comfortable too.

The kitchen was plentifully-stocked with excellent food for breakfast, and the separate guest's refrigerator was an excellent idea for travellers like our party of 4.

We'll certainly consider staying again if we're back to Coonabarabran.

Quiet, cosy, lovely old house. Real, fresh eggs for breakfast. Yummo soft boiled. Highly recommend the place And the price is excellent. Lovely owner.
