Great pub with a friendly atmosphere & prompt service. Popular & lively. A rare example of a 2-storey timber pub within a regional city's CBD – worth dropping in for a cold beer simply to see the traditional tiled walls in the public bar, or the gorgeous dining room with its timber floor and century-old styling. A real classic.

It's a pub, no frills, it had a full front bar of customers on a Thursday lunch which shows that it must be ok. The barman was very relaxed and nice but not very focused, he added an extra steak sandwich to our order that was paid for which we sent back and forgot the cutlery which was behind the bar counter , so we could not get them and when our meals came were told that the barman should have given them to us. ( this was a small thing but true to mention in a fair review). The bread on the steak sandwich was stale. The two full breakfast specials were delicious.

I’ve visited Langfords a few times and their staff really stand out. The bar staff particularly are all super fun, and the ladies on the floor have all been helpful and kind. The food is good and the prices are great. They usually have a live band on Friday nights (maybe Saturday too?) and there is a pool table. There is plenty of space and tables as well as ample parking. The location is great if you plan to head into town, you can just walk.

Highly recommend starting your night here or heading down for a meal and drink. There is a real classic pub vibe too.

The only thing I don’t like is the bathrooms which definitely need some love 🤣👍🏼

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from publican...

She disliked the look of me and voiced as much...
Refused service on the grounds that she just didn't like the look of my partner and myself, meanwhile she sits at head of table full of yobbo's and scruffy drunks.
Partner and myself will not be surrendering any of our money there, NEVER.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. True Aussie pub where everyone knows everyone. We had our Xmas party there last night & it was a blast. The music was good, the staff were friendly and the food was soooo good. Would definitely eat there again!

Had a mixed grill for only $22 and I couldn't finish it all. Photo shows size of meal. It is a workers pub with a lot of history.
