A hidden gem!
Amenities are a bit average but sufficient. Only 1 working washing machine at the time of review and I don’t think the dryer actually drys, but there is a Laundromat in Lang Lang.
The beautiful water views and sunset is what made our stay!
Park is also very quiet 😊

What a lovely peaceful spot! True 'shacks' are dotted throughout the park and some beach boxes for added colour. First night in a cabin was comfortable. Remaining nights powered caravan site, level. Camp kitchen, bbq area, laundry, shower and toilet facilities if required.

Office/shop is manned 9-5, fish and chips etc available plus a few drinks and basics.

There is a rainwater tank but bore water in facilities.

Plenty of space, awesome sunsets and park very close to the water. The tide does go out a long way!

Lang Lang is about 10 mins drive away for more substantial supplies.

We booked for 2 nights to relax and enjoy with family and friends. It was a beautiful place to stay. We had fun.

When the time we made the booking, staff informed us that we can check out around 12ish. On our last night of stay, this staff “grass keeper” with a blue car towing trailer reminded us that that our check out is 10am and if we wanted to stay for a couple of hours we need to pay which is fine for us.

Today 17/02/2024 around 11am, all packed up and ready to go. We are just taking some last group photos before leaving the site and this same staff member “grass keeper” approached Us inappropriately with an attitude, very rude in-front of our kids.! We felt abused/disrespected as there could have been a better approach!! This staff doesn’t deserve to work on this beautiful place!!! Very racist! Hope the management will do something about this!!

Would not recommend, beach is not even walk along-able due to people digging up oysters so much causing excessive mud, smell and bugs. Facilities were mediocre, with one of the bathroom blocks simply being portable toilets.
Positive is the great sunrise and sunset over the island, but won't be back unfortunately

Had a great stay, thank you. Toilets and showers nice and clean. People working were lovely (not sure if owners or not) park got windy AF on first and fourth night. I guess check weather if tenting lol 😀

Sunset amazing but beach itself is muddy clay and you need to be wary of broken bits of reinforced concrete from the retaining wall scattered throughout. When the tide is in, it does look beautiful. It goes really far out at low tide to reveal swampy mud - perfect for oystering (heaps!) but not great for swimming. Kids were filthy. However we made the most of it and made clay sculptures haha. Kilcunda beach 25 mins drive away is amazing so worth the drive for the day.
The powered sites are very narrow and the ground really hard so bring screw pegs for tents/awnings. The unpowered sites are much more pretty and grassy but are really far from the showers. Some people drove down to have a shower. Suppose kids with bikes is ok as they can ride to the toilet each time. It is odd that the showers and toilets are closest to the end where the caravans and cabins are, and the tents are furthest away when assuming the tent customers would require the toilets and showers more. There are porta loos at the unpowered end but a bit yucky
Dogs are allowed so when we went for Aus weekend there were dogs everywhere. Mostly all on leashes and everyone respectful and kept them on their own sites
Campsite itself is just a nice simple quiet old school park. Yeah it’s olds but the camp kitchen and showers were clean and tidy. The staff were lovely and very friendly. Can’t decide if we’d some again. Inclined to say not but that’s due more to the beach than the caravan park. We are beachy people

Stayed here on our way to Gippsland. Stayed 3 nights. Great grassy sites. A bit of a hike to the showers but it was worth it, they were so good. Another toilet block half way in but no showers. All facilities were spotless. Camp kitchen was quite well equipped. I never swam in the beach, so many dead jelly fish on the sand.
Came back for another visit, great auto electrician around the corner. Amenities very clean. So quiet here.
