The check-in was super efficient and rooms were ready for us inspite of booking this accommodation at the last min. The rooms in the website picture matched with the real place. The apartments were clean, bed were really comfy, enough linen and toiletries. Kitchen, Fridge, TV, central aircon everything worked and had basic amenities as needed for a short stay. The place has a small swimming pool and jacuzzi, which worked fine and the kids loved it. The lawns opened straight into the lake where the sunset was amazing to watch. Inspite of the small-ish building, there were sufficient car parking spot for all hotel rooms. The Manager was very accommodative of our requests and allowed us an extra check-out hour as we had small kids with us. Very happy and definitely a great place to stay overnight at Toukley.||Given that the rooms are super big to maximise comfort, the bathroom of the ensuite was very small and was difficult for ease of use, though the second toilet was pretty spacious.

I had booked in advance as my family were coming for my nieces 21st birthday.
1 week before we were due to arrive I received a call advising that they were no longer able to accommodate my booking.
Extremely disappointing and not even willing to advise any other recommendations.

This has to be the worst motel I have ever stayed in. Bedside table had stains all over it and the lamp was put back together after being broken. The handle from the shower came off in my hand and the power point above the microwave when you pulled out the cord the power point came away from the wall. Paid $150 for night which they took out before we even arrived. When I brought these issues up at the front desk he didn't apologise just said he will look into it

The place has potential but lacks basic amenities.
- Wifi is too slow
- Cleanliness isnt to standard (hair in the bed)

View is nice and with more experienced management could give other spots here strong competition. Do not recommend as is. Id say it might be worth paying the extra and going somewhere else if you are looking for fast wifi and looking to get some work done. Also name it lake view palace or anything other than “resort”. Resort is misleading.

Family suites are very spacious with cooking facilities. Staff very helpful. Carparking is an issue especially when a few large 4WD vehicles come in. Some undercover, some outside or on the road. Can be quite noisy with the pool very close to units. Need to drive for restaurants or supermarket options. Has a lovely lake outlook but needs to be tidied up an made safer for children as there is quite a steep slope down to the water. Has great potential.

Location was wonderful but that's about it. Our room was filthy when we checked in, a gritty layer of sand throughout the whole apartment. Walls were filthy, there was a half used bottle of water under the sink in the main bathroom. One of the beds were missing half the slats. No spare blankets in the apartment and when my sister asked for one she was given one covered in sand with a massive hole in it. I've never felt so disgusting staying in a 'resort' more like a one star motel. Looking at other reviews the owners are quite cheeky and rude with their responses, that's why we never raised a concern with them, the place was a dump and that's the bottom line. The pool area was putrid, the day we got there the spa was literally brown with filth, later that evening we saw workers dump so much chlorine in there that it burnt our eyes 10m away. The next morning the spa still smelt very strongly of chlorine and the day after when the smell had died down, the spa was colder than the pool. I don't understand they can advertise facilities that patrons can't use. Anyway, pay the extra bucks and find somewhere nicer, this place is foul.

I would definitely say there is no service at all. As a paying customer, before checking out the room, you need to clean the facilities (wash all used utensils and remove all rubish bins from the room), or you will be charged A$100.
Even if we have 2 rooms, only 1 key is provided.
Appliances are sub-standard, that is; chairs are wobbly and ready to break. In fact, my friend seats on an outdoor chair, and the legs broke. We mentioned it to the staff and told them the other one is in the brink of breaking. I hope these comments will improve their facilities and services.

Used to be great but this was three years since I've been there so maybe new management but thought it has defenitly gone downhill since the remodel, walked into the room which reeked so bad of chlorine it was sickening so we left till night time when we returned went to get ready for a shower then noticed the moldy ceiling. Went to turn aircon on for a bit of airflow to hopefully make the room smell better but turned it of straight away as the vents were entirely covered in thick dust which made the room smell worse.
Also i know could be inconvenient timing but couldn't use sauna or steamroom due to broken glass all over the floor which was sad as the steamroom was the main reason i booked this place.
