‼️IGNORE THE OLDER BAD COMMENTS HERE AS THE PARK IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT & THEY ARE FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT & HELPFUL‼️
My mother bought a two bedroom home in the Over 60s Seniors Area of the park over 14 years ago & she absolutely loves living there. It is a very quiet area with very very friendly people everywhere & of course there is a rental section of the park with caravans, cabins & sites for camping or your own caravan.

Awesome place to stay very pretty and friendly people - however the caretaker in the van next to us complained about us making too much noise when we arrived back to our cabin from visiting another resident. we were in there for 20mins.... she Knocked on the door aggressively and told us to open the door!! She snapped at us and walked away - not to mention she had sat drinking all afternoon and was clearly past the point of being friendly either from alcohol intake or the fact that she was quite rude in her pyjamas at our doorstep! Maybe not a place for little kids if she thinks two adults are being noisy!

I would never stay here again. We were travelling over the Christmas break with no booking, so granted there weren’t many options, however we did not expect the service we received. To begin with, the lady at reception was so incredibly rude I was gob smacked. We did get a warning though to keep everything locked as there had been some recent break ins. Awesome! Then we were given a site for $40 a night which was really just the park/grass in the campgrounds with a couple of others sharing. This grassy area backed onto some mangroves which were full of rubbish, as well as a pier nearby with access to the public. This meant that there were people constantly walking through our site in the middle of the night. The suburb itself didn’t feel extremely safe so having people walk through in the middle of the night when you’re sleeping in a swag wasn’t ideal. The next day we left about 8am and as the office didn’t open until 10am we left the keys for the amenities in the drop box and thought we would call when they open so they can refund the $10 bond for the keys. This was 2 months ago and we are still waiting for the refund.

We strongly advise you to never ever stay at this park, we are seasoned travellers, and can put up with a lot..but this place makes fawlty towers look like the hyatt regency ! The lady at reception is beyond rude, and should in no shape or form have any hand in running anything other than a chook raffle.. you have been warned ! Steer well clear of this place ... absolutely terrible service, terrible staff and awful amenities ! We gave it one star just so we could write a review ! If we could have rated it minus 10 stars we would have !!

This park is advertised as dog friendly, so I rang to make a booking. When asked about my dogs, I was told "Not that many and certainly not that type". It is either dog friendly or not. FYI, both my dogs are well behaved and highly trained Australian Cattle Dogs, and I am a professional dog behavioural trainer. Not impressed. There should not be discrimination about breeds of dogs based on ignorance.
