I recently had a remedial massage at Lake Spa Wellness. All I can say is that it was the best massage I have ever had - and I have had many over the last 35 years (mainly in Sydney)! Mere, the practitioner who looked after me, was extremely knowledgeable and very thorough in identifying the problem and targeting it. She did an excellent job! In the case of other remedial massages I received by others over the years, I found the practitioners never really listened when I explained my health issues and simply followed a pre-determined 'one size fits all' remedy - which never worked. Mere is definitely different. She is in a league of her own. I highly, highly recommend her!!

*Edit in regards to the response I received from this company. I definitely did go to this facility, O'Brien is my maiden name so would not show up on their system. Also the questions asked about my job were only asked out of curiosity and did not relate to my massage at all. I'm upset as this 10 minute conversation chewed into the massage time and I did not feel that most of it was necessary. Conversation aside, the massage also was not good.*

Unfortunately very disappointed with my massage. Paid $110 for a 1 hour massage that basically only covered one half of my neck and both shoulders. Left with my neck feeling tighter than when I walked in.

I've had many massages before (that have been less than $110) and for a 1 hour massage they usually manage to cover my legs, back, neck, arms and even sometimes head quite well and thoroughly.

I got to the place early and the 1 hour included 10 mins she spent asking me questions including questions about my job. So I basically paid $110 for a 50 min massage.

I chose this place based on their reviews so I thought I'd add my experience. I also understand that the place potentially has people that are great at massaging but yeah wasn't happy with the lady I had.

Lakespa and my therapist, Mere, have given me my quality of life back! I suffer with an auto immune arthritis which affects every part of my life. When I first went to see Mere for remedial massage I was in so much pain and could not move, stand or sleep easily. Mere has a very gentle soothing manner and over time has reduced my pain to virtually nil, recommended changes to my lifestyle/diet etc and given me a new lease of life. I highly recommend Lakespa and Mere.

Fantastic service from an amazing team of professionals!!
Without a doubt the best team of massage therapists I have ever been too. I moved away from the area for more than 10 years and tried many massage therapists in that time but failed to find the same quality as Lake Spa to the point I decided to travel back to Lake Spa for massage treatment.
Since returning to the area I have been having regular appointments with their fabulous chiropractor Belinda. I have a herniated disc in my back and as a young Mum of 4 I was living with daily pain and the doctors believed that my only option at the age of 30 was going to be surgery. Belinda has been like magic, I am now living mostly pain free and have been able to resume and enjoy most activities that a young Mum should be able to with her children.
The care, compassion and professionalism from the team at Lake Spa is definitely one of a kind and I am eternally grateful for them.
