If you want a restaurant with a family feel, amazing handmade food, delicious fresh made dessert, great service and authenticity then look no further. La Vespa Italian is affordable, incredible and accomodating!! We will be back when we’re back up again!! Great location with lots of parking and outside under cover you can take your dog with! They even bring water for your pooch! My parents are gluten free and they went out of their way to make everything gf for them (except my pasta because I am not gluten free). We ate here a few times and did take away also.

Honestly the best restaurant I’ve been too! The atmosphere, the food, the way you are taken care of .. perfection! The best place for a birthday dinner. Everyone gets involved to make you feel special. The owner is wonderful and even helped me order. Everything you want in a family restaurant. Unless your a boring, miserable sad sack and dont enjoy a fun experience.

My partner and I dined at La Vespa during the week in the off season. The town in general wasn’t very busy and there were a few other customers. We were welcomed into the restaurant and had a choice of tables. The staff were very helpful with recommendations upon request and happy to share some good tips for our time in town.

The meals were beautifully presented and came out very quickly. The food was fresh and delicious with some interesting twists rather than a very traditional Italian menu. I can recommend the Nocina pasta - it was our favourite dish of the night.

The restaurant has a very warm and cozy feel and you forget that it is part of the small shopping centre. I would definitely recommend you stop by on your travels.

Excellent food and service.

The chef noticed that my son loves dinosaurs and made this little plate after we had our meals.

Would 100% recommend.

The saltimbocca was my favourite! You can also BYO for only a $2 charge per person drinking. The owners, Lou and Robin are lovely, and I felt like I was having a traditional dinner at Nonna's.

Unfortunately this was a huge disappointment. The kids meals came out quickly and all was good, until we had to wait 1.5 hours for the adults meals to appear. The kids had long finished and were ready to leave well before the adults even got a bite to eat. The restaurant was not particularly busy so I’m not sure how it could have taken so long to produce a few pasta dishes. The food was ok but not memorable.
