When I arrived for a weekend away with my husband and 4 kids, we were told that a tree had fallen on the cabin we were booked into and were not given alternative accomodation. With no other option available we had to stay in this damaged, filthy cabin. I understand that a fallen tree can happen given the location, however, the incident occured 2 weeks prior to our arrival and I did not receive a phone call or any notification of the incident and then when arriving as a family of 6, we had no option but to stay in a cabin where we felt very unsafe. We were not offered anything in terms of a discount or a meal as an apology or even a verbal apology for that matter. We will never stay here again

Just love the pools and restaurants. It’s a natures retreat and things don’t always go according to plan - but boy what a beautiful stunning retreat ...at one with nature
