Got the wrong room. The office hours are way to short, no email service after office is closed at 2pm.
The whole park has seen better days, many things are dilapidated. Especially the budget rooms.
The kitchen is equipped very badly. Many things inside also broken. But plenty of space in the fridge at least. No cutlery, or not enough.
The bed sheets were dirty and not washed properly. And there was missing a slat in the slatted frame, and therefore sitting on the bed was a pain as well as sleeping in it.

Only two stars because the guests were friendly and had fun there.

Overall the only affordable hostek/hotel in the area, but way too expensive for the provided rooms.m, compared to other locations a bit further(30-60min away)

I stayed here in a pet friendly cabin on my way north and then back south. Check in was out of hours but very easy. Staff were super helpful on the phone. A short work to the beach for the most beautiful sunrise. It's on the highway so of course truck noise is a bit of an issue but I was very comfortable.

Nice quiet park with ample space for (powered) campers and caravans. Beautiful environment near the beach. Nice clean amenities with cleaning and bbq options. Unfortunately we did not see kookaburas and unfortunately the pool had speang a leak. But very friendly and helpful staff.

Absolutely brilliant. Great clean room and great service. Room to park an eight metre boat and car. Lovely surrounds. Perfect, can't recommend highly enough.

The park is well situated just a few hundred metres from town, the pool looks like it is maintained and is inviting and the prices are good. So if that ticks all your boxes then you would probably be happy here. We weren't unhappy but the park looks quite dated and just a bit shabby. One of the big problems we have with these older parks is that when they were planned a large van would have been 19 foot so that now with a larger van the sites are either very tight or there isn't any room for you to turn into them. The site we were given is long enough for our van but there wasn't the room ahead to allow us to turn in and it would have been very cosy between the slab and the fence so we chose just to park on the slab.

On a powered site next to the pool (nice a cool) in the corner we didn't have any problems except it was Hot, local's friendly staff great, not the most upto date park but it didn't bother us, and it doesn't matter if it's clean, choose our own site, will stay again on our way back up to cairns next to the road but again didn't bother us
